My kids told me I need to start dating, so I decided to try this." ~ I'm not capable of thinking for myself, so I let the kids do the thinking for me. By the way, if the kids don't like you, you're gonna have to go, cuz I'm still not committed enough to tell them to behave.
"I am a down to earth person and yes I have children." ~ I have pretty low standards and since I only bothered to write 4 sentences and mentioned the kids in two of them, you know where you'll fall on my priority list.
"I enjoy a lot of different types of things, but more or less I am a pretty simple person." ~ I enjoy cheap, or better yet...FREE activities, but don't want all the ladies to run, so I'm tryin' to be mysterious here. Either that or I just wanna get laid and don't wanna scare all the ladies off.

Also...
When a 40 year old guy's lookin' for someone 25-40, it tells the mature ladies you're a perv. Makes it hard for some of us to take you seriously. The "hot young things" you guys seem to be hoping for will most likely see how old you are and say "EWWWW".
I know this probably comes across as pretty harsh, and it probably is, but I had a long day, I'm exhausted, my back hurts, my legs are numb and my arms are burning thanks to a pinched nerve in my back, and I'm feelin' feisty.
