Congress should charter a "private insurance company" for the purpose of providing health insurance to the low income families, and/or anyone who has problem paying their insurance premiums, and be allowed to compete head on with the private sector.

This private stock insurance company should be given the following exemptions;

1. They do not have to register their stocks with SEC
2. Be tax exempt
3. They do not have to report their financial problems to the public
4. All their liabilities are to be garanteed by the tax payers
5. The government oversight committe be lead by Barney Frank
6. That they be allowed to issue their own company bonds secured by the tax payers
7. Thay they be allowed to become a monopoly, and/or this company should be split to prevent a monopoly

Once this private insurance company becomes a government cash cow, and the darlings of Wall Street, they should be allowed to "re-insure" other private health insurance business".

Your thoughts....

psst: this proposal isn't socialism.

Doc, I'm sure you've realized that my proposals were once carried out by both Johnson and Nixon, in other words, what your describing have been established in the U.S. a long time ago...aprox. 40 years.

My points is...F & F were once America's proud corporate flagships, and the darlings of Wall Street, therefore why not create another one in the Health care insurance industry, with preferential exempt status, competing head on with the private sector, and insuring U.S. families earning less that 75K annually.

Cause the fed. government couldn't make a profit running a f**king lemonade stand.

Everything they touch turns to shit.

Politicians can't fix this.

Private Free market can, If the f**king Politicians would get the hell out of the
way.

Yeah, but the way F & F was structured 40 years ago, for many decades, they've made huge profits until the Republicans accused the Democrats for looting these profitable companies. Therefore, if my proposals were to be supervised by the Republicans, then why not ask Congress to charter a private health care company, with special exempt status, competing head on with the private sector, and providing health insurance to U.S. families earning less than 75K annually.

Again, according to many Republicans, F & F was doing just fine until they got looted by the democrats.

Docholomon,

I understand what you're trying to say;

Your saying that for 40 years, Freddie and Fannie were a socialized private government controlled companies, and/or a fascist privately owned and government controlled companies, therefore this type of Congress chartered private companies should not exist.

Then we both agree that socialism and fascism in the U.S. were clearly established by the U.S. government 40 years ago, and both the Republicans and Democrats allowed these companies to grow, becoming once America's proud corporate flagships, and the darlings of Wall Street.

Isn't that the truth!
