| The best thing I can tell you from exp. is DON'T date until YOU know you are ready. Don't listen to anyone elses opinion on when to date. My best friend pushed me into dating before I was ready. Biggest mistake I have make in my whole life! Only you know deep down when you are ready to face the world again. No matter how much your friends feel you need to get out, don't do it! Good luck. Take your time. My best wishes are with you.

| Yes I have lost my soul mate of 21 years and yes it has left me felling real lost. But I have to agree with some of the answers you got already. You will know when it is time and the frame is different for all people. Some may take years some maybe months it is all up to the individual person. No one person can tell you when your ready not even someone who is going through it or has been through it. It truly is when your ready and trust me you will know when your ready.

| This one hits home to me as my mom passed away this year right before mothers day. My step dad who by all rights of the deffintion of the word is my daddy took it pretty hard. Momma was his best friend, his therapist, his sounding board and what made ramance romantic. My siblings think it is a bit too early for him to consider another relationship. But, I say that momma loved him unconditionally. The bond that they shared will always be there, and she would want him to move on and find happiness and love. So what do you say? How do you act? You say, hello and then you act on the life you have. So heres to you, the one who will one day fill that empty spot.
