| Invite him over. Have a path of candles leading the way to a bubble bath. Have his favorite music playing. If he drinks, have his favorite drink waiting for him by his bubble bath. Pamper him, make him feel really special. Those are the things money can't buy!

| Thanks Apple. Tried and true method. I usually add to it some of the things that do cost a bit, but the basics work really well!

| sometimes the best things are free. I mean the best part of a relationship is just being with that person, walking talking. So maybe you dont have to do something on a grand scale..

| I've tried the raincoat... nothing on but heels and the coat and a beer in my hand.. but.. um.. doesn't get much else done besides the obvious. Maybe she was looking for ideas that keep them entertained besides that form of entertainment.
How bout walking around the mall and making fun of ppl, thats always fun (just kidding)... I always like to go out to the local park/lake for a bon fire (if you don't have fire pit close and handy) toast some marshmallows and just soak up the night with that loved one. Besides with the cold nights lately, it will ensure you are huddled up close.

| Once, I had a date that we wanted something different so we tented inside in the winter. We lit the fireplace, played some outdoor (nature)music, toasted marshmellows, sipped on some beer and wine, lit candles, and really enjoyed a good time, and conversation.

| Grown women, look, you're giving advice to an 18 year old....gotta think in terms that are suitable for the subject. Candle light dinner on the balcony...cheap and easy.. one of the best dates I've ever had was with an oriental baby doll who invited me over. We had rice and eggs with mountain dew, a 25 cent candle on a glass top table on the balcony of her college apartment overlooking the parking lot where we had a beautiful night sky and could easily see the airplanes flying above the big city. I bet the whole dated didn't cost her $1....which might be $3 in today's money.... I've always found the most difficulty making a daytime date good and romantic. Hard to do anything except find some cheap community activity...soccer game or something going on at the nearest college...making it romantic is the really difficult part.

| I see you are 18...hmmmm....
Maybe think of what he really likes...that doesn't cost money...
If during the day...bundle up and have a snowball fight, build a snowman,
then go inside have some warm hot chocolate, sit by a fire (if you have one)
play a silly board game, talk about your dreams...talk about silly things,
watch a funny movie or a new action film he might like. Cuddle, kiss,
hold hands, maybe give him a shoulder rub...things that cost nothing,
but mean alot! Make some memories!
Good luck!
