For instance Herpies can be transmitted without knowing it. And it may not show up for years. I was married to a woman who went to her doctor for a routine visit. Her pasp smear show unusual cells. The lab ran some test. It showed she had herpies. She had only been with me and her first hubby. But he cheated on her for a long time. Her doctor contacted her ex. The ex tested positive for herpies. After that we always used a condom. So you never really know who or what you are sleeping with no matter how many partners you have. Be careful and be safe. No I do not have herpies. I get tested every year. All have been negative. Now I am more careful and use precaution. So the number of partners is not as important as who that partner slept with as well.
