| Which do you like better ladies? To have a man clean shaven or....
I for one sometimes let my beard grow a little too much. I have brown hair on my head and my mustache is brown but my beard is getting grayer with each passing year.
When I do let it grow, I usually say its to compensate for my slowly balding head but for some reason I can't grow what I would call a full beard. (if I let it go too long my face always looks dirty)
Just what is your take on this matter? I would very much like to know.

| It depends on the man. Some men can wear them well, some just look scruffy.

| I've always been curious about the response(s) to the question...
I keep my facial hair since I am considered far younger without it (not great to be considered a punky kid in my line of work)...

| I like facial hair if it fits the guys face. I just do not like full long beards.

| I gots a stache that goes the whole way to the chin and a strip down the center.
It used to be a goatee many years ago, but I seperated it. And yea...lotsa grey there. Earned every one of those grey hairs, too. If it isn't your thing, sorry. It isn't going anywhere.

| In 1973, our band had broken up and I got married, so I let my mutton chop sideburns grow together at the bottom and turned it into a beard. For alot of years it was full tilt lumberjack style with reddish hair on top of my head that looked like an aborigine. By 1978, if anyone has ever seen "American Chopper", I looked like Mikey Tuttle's twin brother. Wasn't until I lost all the hair one year and went to nursing school a couple years later that I gave up the "Smith Brothers/ZZ Top" look for something that would fly in a professional setting. I keep the tats covered and always go to work smelling pretty and hardly ever chew tobacco anymore...but, they still think I've got a bad attitude.
Same thing Mrs. Vincent said in 9th grade....
(my beard is the only relationship I've had that's lasted...it stays)

| Facial hair or no facial hair should be his choice. I don't look at a man and think "He would look better with or without that beard". I just accept that as his style.
That is the least thing I would notice about him. Unless, of course, he looks like Golden of the Oakridge Boys. That would take some getting used to!
A neat beard, cute mustache, can sometimes enhance a man's looks.
But again, it should be his choice.

| Personally, I have not been with a man who had a mustache or goatee. So, I cannot contrast between the two.
However, a clean shaven man must take care of it on a regular basis, if not the scratchiness rubbing up against me.....ALWAYS makes my face red and raw...I cannot tolerate red and raw skin...especially since I have sensitive skin to begin with...
By the way, I have never seen my father without his beard and mustache....except in pictures....way before my time!

| I think it's the man's choice. It makes no difference to me. I would not cut my hair for a man why should I ask a gentleman to shave if he prefers a mustache goatee or beard

| I ususally prefer shaved but it depends on how it looks on the guy and how it feels.
I lived with a man that kept his mustache trimmed fairly short - couldn't kiss him for a while after a trim because those hairs would poke in my nose. Try poking the skin right inside and outside your nostrils - not good.

| Clean shaven with a trimmed Goatee is what I like.
OMG so I met this guy a couple weeks ago. We were making out as I was rubbing his chest because I love rubbing chests. The dude shaved his chest and it was the most awful feeling ever. I mean it might have been o.k. if it was smooth, but it was all prickly all the way down his stomach. I was very sad because I love to rub a mans chest and this was the first time in my life that I came across this.
So either shaved and smooth or long and smooth, but prickly always sucks when it is in contact with a womans sensitive skin

| I have never been with anyone but clean shaven men, (dated a couple with facial hair, but they went nowhere) but there are times I find a nicely trimmed goatee and moustache sexy as hell. I think it depends on the guy, his facial features, and how well he takes care of either shaving or trimming his facial hair. I will say that it looks odd to me if his hair is one color and facial hair another. I had a brother in law that had brown hair and when he grew a beard, it was red, and that looked odd. Same goes for guys that have a gray beard, but not gray hair, just looks odd to me.
I'm with indoubt that soft is definitely a criteria. I have had my face burned many times by my ex's stubble on the weekends and vacation. Whatever a man's choice, as long as it's taken care of, it's all good. I don't find the long beards or Grizzly Addams look attractive, though, and definitely not the Chewbacca look, either.

| I think it depends on the man, his facial structure and his style. I also think men do grey much better than women, and a little grey in the beard and mustache don't look too bad. I myself, like the five o'clock shadow look or a goatee on the right man.

| Rarely a man has the personality to look good with facial hair, really rare in my opinion.
But I do believe however, that beard is a good way for an overweight man to look thinner from the face.
