| I'm a musician and like it all! I am old school so "Classic Rock" & "Motown" are my favorites. My younger son is a rap producer and does well! I am retired Cruise Director and performed for 40+ years in all the bands! Rock on!!

| Cool to see that other people on here like metal! Some of my favorite bands are Danzig, the Misfits, Samhain, Type O Negative, H.I.M., Guns N' Roses, Cradle of Filth, and so on.....(I am also a musician myself)

| As a kid, I came from a poor family. I never had a stereo as a kid, so I had to listen to whatever my folks listened to on the radio. Mostly Lawerence Welk, and the Big Band era stuff. In my younger years I liked classic rock, now-a-days if I "have to listen to music" it's country, or maybe Nora Jones.
But basically I don't like music. I find it annoying. Everytime I turn it on, someone feels the urgent need to talk about mundane information, which requires me to turn the music down, or off. If I turn it off, then they stop talking. I guess I prefer for them to just shut up with the music off, than to try to listen to music under their blathering conversations.
