Well it is never easy I think you should take care of the time you have and not worry about saying good-by Spend time togeather, be there and not only talk but lissten to what your friend has to say. And let your friend know you love and care for them good luck to you both

very sorry to hear that. Prayer is still what I would do. I will too. God can change our lives in a second. You still have the time to love him while you can, but dont give up and BELIEVE.

I've know several people who had that desease, I met them up at Barnes University in St. Louis, Mo. I was there because I also had a hereditary lung desease that was killing me. I recieve a double lung transplant last year on July,13. I'm assuming your friend is young due to your age. May I suggest having him contact Barnes and get him on the list. For your part, the best thing to do is to be there for him. Sometimes he'll need a hug and your strength, other times he may want to be alone to spend sometime thinking. The best person to ask is him. Take care and good luck.

Wow very sad situation, I have a nephew with CF and its hard to think such a wonderful person could be taken from us so young, all I can suggest is be there for him as much as possible, we like surprising Cody with trips to amusement parks and we don't ever mention his CF unless he brings it up first, my heart goes out to your friend.
Please give him a hug from me and my family

i have known mickey a year almost his sister also had cf and died in her 20s, mickeys cf has brung us closer, every moment we have is precious, i never saw him as being sick, just different but in good way.. ive started spending more time with him, helping him around his house and such, he lives in troy north carolina, not really far to me because its worth it. mickey has inspired me to do many things, hes made me realize u only have one life to live, so make the best of it..
