| Alot of people who email a no answer back, suddenly get harrassed by the person who sent the email as of why. They can't accept a no answer, so rather than be harrassed they would rather not answer at all.

| If you've been here a while you're so busy as a rule w/folkz that ya kinda squeezed 4 time. @ times, as hard as it might be 4 some 2 believe, I hardly have time 4 the forumz coz of e-mail w/folkz I know. It can be hard 2 make room on a full plate. Don't take it personal. Just like salez it's a #'z game. Keep pluggin' along....

When I first came on line years ago, I made the same mistake you are making by assuming that rules of conduct not to mention manners on line were an extention of what they were in reals.
So, I began by responding to every inquiry honestly and politely. This is what happened:
1. I spent more time tied up sending polite declines to strangers than having fun or doing anything productive on line.
2. Regardless of how careful I were not to offend anyone, those who chose to be offended found a way.
3. I got the best (or worse ,, however you want to word it) from men who did not want a no for an answer ---not to mention scary angry people and those who do not respect women.
Consequentially, Alaska, I have learned that "on line" is a different land than "live on reals." Therefore, I had to learn, accept and embrace the on line communities' culture and its accompanying rules of behavior.
And, as you already been told, by one of my sisters, a "no response" on an inquiring email to a lady (or man) means that they are not interested in you.
Believe me, it is not as cold as it sounds. If you don't believe me, try to write a cheerful note of decline to a woman who sounds very nice but to whom you are not the least attracted.

| I try to say thank you to everyone that emails me, even the winks. I have had a few emails lately asking for advice about stuff like this. I usually answer the friends and interest first and when the forums are boring I respond to the people that I don't know or that I am not interested in usually in a very polite way.

| REGARDING: hey people that dont respond want to try and make excuses and not feel bad, but why should they not feel bad? they already made the person they didnt answer feel bad. theres a price to pay for everything.
