| I was sitting in a hot tub at my gym and there was a girl sitting on the side. I was pretty sure that she was single, but didn't want to make the moves because there were other dudes, mostly old guys, in there with us. So I thought maybe I would catch her on the way out of the gym. MY QUESTION...Is it creepy for a guy to just walk up to a girl and ask her out. My friend says so, but I don't see the problem. Please help me

| does that that thing hurt when you walk?
Hmmm..now to the question. How are you ever going to know if you don't just ask? I believe most of us have and will get turned down at some points in our lives. Doesn't feel the best but nothing ventured, nothing gained...i'd give it a try..but watch for body signals she may be givng you. Does she look at you too? Smile? whatever...maybe you can gauge from them and know if she seems like she'd want you to approach her.

| What you should have done...is spoke to her the second you realize she wasn't wearing a ring. Start off with a smile and joke, saying something like..."Wait what did you have for lunch? We just chased out an old guy who just had chili..What did you have? Hold up if you didn't have lunch why don't we go grab a bite to eat... In fact you should have said something before you even looked for a ring and if she was wearing a ring, crack a joke, ask how long, or just say, "Oops...nice ring".
The point is the longer you waited the less chance you have of getting her number. Women like brave men. You yappying to her while a bunch of guys are watching would have scored major brownie points. Rolling up on her later probably wouldn't.

i was in a similar situation....and asking did not help!!
and i was sincere when i asked,"do you know that you missed a spot on your bikini line wax?"

| Men of confidence will always be impressive to the women. There is not a woman I've talked to, that feel that men who know what they want, and express it well, are not attractive. Trust me on this one. It's just hard to get a date on this site Speak softly but firm and things will happen. Funny really helps also. It really does not matter what is said, as long as it's clever.
