The first thing I thought of was how many men would try to be with me if I had that much money.
Honestly, If I had to chose between $111 million dollars or being in a wonderful relationship, I would chose the relationship.
This is because a lot of beautiful experiences can come from being with a good man, but all that money would bring too many fake people into my life.

| Have to go with the money. Once everything else is taken care of and investments made, foundations started, then I could find a relationship. Granted the weeding out process would be tougher, and true it would bring it's own brand of problems, but I would also be free to travel and spend as much time as I felt to seek a worthy relationship to develope.

Clearly you didn't actually check the profiles of all of those who would accept the money. If you did, then you wouldn't have said we're "all 'trying' to find a connection" because not all of us are.
If I happen upon one, fine. If I don't, that's fine, too. It'd be nice but it's not why -I- am here. (Go read my blog posts if you want to know why -I- am here.)
Moral of story:
You might want to watch applying generalities to people to whom they don't apply.
Also, it's not all about me and greed. It's just practical as well as funny. Perhaps you should relax a little and find the humour in life rather than being so judgemental about others.

| Most relationships fight about money at some point. If you had money like that, all of your physical worries can be taken care of and it can reduce the number of arguments in a relationship. IF it doesn't reduce the arguments, then it's not a relationship you want to be in because it is about the money and not being together.
Imagine: early retirement with your sweetheart, travel, doing charity work, being able to stay in bed all day with each other instead of needing to punch a time-clock, being able to afford little gifts you want to give each other just because, less time at work, get projects done around the house, take time to develop talents you're passionate about...
Money won't buy a wonderful relationship, or even buy happiness, but to quote settee_for_2: it does, however, grease the wheels..

| The word "almost" is the catch. You could get almost anything (a hot, younger lover) but the money isn't going to buy the wonderful relationship. If you've got both and you're still not satisfied, you're not looking at the right place to fix the problem.
Time for a despair-ism.

I agree with your response 100%. The money would set so many things in my life straight that then I really could concentrate on "finding that right love". As so many other people in this crazy country, I can't afford to even take myself out anywhere, much less a date. So, the $100,000,000 would solve all of that for me & then love would follow whenever it chances to follow.

-Home ownership
-Celebrations (anniversaries, baby showers, birthdays, valentines, etc...)
-Good sex (STD free)

Not at all. This is rosy, pie-in-the-sky, happy bunny thinking. It'd be nice to have this within your wonderful relationship, but it is not guaranteed.
Things happen, you endure hardships, life throws you all sorts of curve balls, and if you get through those hardships with a wonderful mate at your side, that's the wonderful thing. But you don't get these things as if it's the prize for finally finding the one.

| Love wins out every time with me. They don't even come close to each other. This is a decision I had to make a long time ago....choose the man who could give me anything I wanted and hope the feelings would grow in time or choose the man who couldn't provide for me as well but all the feelings and emotions are there. I learned a long time ago that my love cannot be bought for the highest dollar...so although having the money would make life easier...it will not make ME happy. I am going for the gold..want the happiness. Money doesn't buy happiness. You know the head over hills in love passion and happiness. Love like that is rare...a gem...and not replaceable with the green stuff.
