I don't even want to hear it Joe! Soon as the rest of the ladies came in the bar, you left me hanging. lol Geo needs a little tlc now. I'll be back to the Tiki in a bit.

Jacksonville. Well, it's a huge city. Largest in US land wise. The current temp is 45 now. The only down side is the crime rate has gone up since the rapid growth.

I was curious about the surrounding towns where are the quiet neighbor hoods

There are quiet areas in town also. I live in the Ortega area, which is quiet. There are many little towns around Jax. Orange Park, which has horrible traffic problems. Macclenny, which is kinda on the country side. Yulee, which is country and boring. But just up the road from Yulee is Amelia Island. Now that is great! No thugs, wonderful homes, close to the beach, part of it is on the beach, and has almost anything you need in that one area.

what about Atlantic Beach

Atlantic Beach is ok. I prefer Ponte Vedra much more. Atlantic has some areas that have problems. Mostly from rental property. If you are looking at beach property, I would look at Palm Coast. That place is cool. I spent a week at a time share resort there in May. I loved that area. Quiet, clean, and really nice without the pricing of Ponte Vedra or Amelia Island.

Any time you want to come down and check things out, let me know and I'll try to take the time out to show you around. Real estate agents don't tell new folks about the bad places that you don't want to live in. Let me know, really, if I can help in any way.

Please do. I like to make sure anyone that is nice gets into the nice areas. I don't wish the "hood" on anyone but the thugs. lol
