1. yes I want a paranormal group!!
2. No I do not because I am really lame

This is the poll that will determine to Dustin whether or not there are enough people interested in a paranormal group to warrant adding one. Please if you comment, also take the time to vote. The paranormal group would include Topics on Ghosts,Aliens,U.F.O.'s, Bigfoot, Lochness Monster, Chupacabra,Out of body experiences, etc. etc. This Would NOT be the appropriate place for discussions about Wicca, as there is an Other religions thread for that.

YES

I suppose until the group is added this can be the official Paranormal thread to talk about topics in the meanwhile. Feel free to post your Ideas for threads in the paranormal group. Ghost hunting and paranormal research is my suggestion and will be what most of my posts will consist of.

I guess so, if it is allowed. Doesn't seem to be a lot of interest though, I appreciate those who did express an interest.

Maybe if we actually got a discussion going about ghost hunting and paranormal research that would help?

So, who wants to start? LOL

I, personally, have not been on an "official ghost hunt" like you see on tv. I don't have the technical equipment but, would love to have it. I am a sensitive and can sense ghosts or spirits, whatever they are and can communicate with them...I do this psychically and not physically if you understand what that means. While it is cool, doing it this way only, can leave a lot of room for misinterpretation or misunderstanding.

I think having the technical equipment would be a very useful tool to use in combination with the other to prove it's not just in your head and to communicate easier with them.

Spirits, ghosts, entities, can be misleading, I have found. However, I have had experiences where they gave me specific info that I could use to prove my communication with them or to prove to me what they were saying was true. I have found it is best to get this from them, otherwise, they can lead you on a wild goose chase. Some, love to just play with your head or keep you in a guessing game...which gets very frustrating. Perhaps, it is just they are not able to communicate very well, but, I know when they want to they can. They can be very specific and adamant when they want to be.

Ok well, now that you probably think I am officially nuts,LOL, what is your experience or take on this?

I would say just start the thread and try to keep it going. You would have to make sure you make a new post once in awhile so it gets noticed on the list. Oh and please keep the trolls out.

Yes you are right about making a post once in a while to keep it where people can see it.

What exactly is considered a troll on here. Someone who disagrees or is rude or what?

Fascinating would love to hear your stories!

Maybe every now and then we can go on a hunt! Have always wanted to. I pick up on things sometimes but I am not very good. My Best friend Billy says I do not excercise what I have been given. He on the other hand is mind blowing! But I can honestly say I would rather not go through what he does! I get calls all hours day and night He says write this down. I Listen and write then he goes to bed or whatever after we talk a few. He usually doesnt recall what he told me to write. He sees spirits the future the past. He even smells cancer but he gets so ill and it takes so much out of him. Sometimes he comes to my house for a visit meaning he needs ti hide out and sleep for days! Then he is good to go again! He says" It's like putting a puzzle together because most of the time it comes at him like pictures you have to figure out the sequence or if its even the same puzzle!" Anyway what I want people to know is this is no joke and the price these gifted people pay is dear Be careful what you wish for! You may get it.

Hi Rose,

I appreciate your post and for sharing that. Your friend Billy is right. You have to tune in more if you want your gift to be more powerful Everyone's gift is different though. You may not go through what he does...yours may be totally different. I feel for your friend Billy. Does Billy know there are ways to turn it down so he is not bothered so much? There are also ways to minimize the getting so sick. While my abilities are different than you friend's, I still, have had to find ways to deal with it. I have some friends that have more experience and they have told me different ways to deal with things.

Once the spirits know that you can and are willing to communicate, they will bug you to death and occupy your time to the point where you can get nothing else done. My friends taught me how to turn it down and even turn it off.

I am a Sensitive and an Empath. I am also, somewhat of a Healer so, I tend to take on peoples emotions or symptoms of illness to the point of being sick, myself. Especially, when I am real close to that person. You have to learn how to release the negative energy and take on positive energy. Also, there are ways to energize yourself after a session.

You are welcome to contact me on here if you would like to talk and also, I would be interested in talking to your friend Billy about this if he wants. Perhaps I can help both of you. I'm sure there are others on here that may be able to help too if, you have questions or just need some help dealing with this.

I would love to go on a ghost hunt with the technology they have.

Hi Angelz!

No I have not seen any orbs or had pics in them. A day or so ago I tried to write my experiences and spent a good amount of time on it and it wouldn't post and I lost the whole thing. This happened twice and I got discouraged trying to write anything. It was just a big waste of my time. Sorry.

It's really pretty awesome When you take the pics nothing there but later they show up was on a digital camera Different areas of the house. Just to make sure it wasn't some kind of glare we re- took the pics same areas not all the same people were there but we substituted Strangely some of the orbs were in the same area not the same place though and some that showed up with certain people were not there at all. He bought a second camera. came back a month later and took pics still found orbs. The most fascinating were Christmas last year At my house in Owasso. Inside we saw orbs near the tree in pics He wanted to get pics from the outside looking in of the tree and where the orbs were. He found images of people in the pics. Fascinating stuff. There were other activities going on as well I'll tell you about them sometime.

Well, I tried video and digital photos this morning, it was still dark. got some interesting things but, need to check it out further as to other possibilities. I may have gotten an orb as well. Really need a professional to look at it to make sure there is not a logical explanation for it. Mine I mean. Orbs in pics can be many things and not necessarily paranormal. Matter of fact most times it is not.

Here is an interesting page that you might want to check out. It is research and faq's for people who are interested in the paranormal.

Here are a couple of pics I found when doing some research.

The first one was supposedly taken by a dashcam at night. It looks to me like a still from a horror movie. What do you think??

This one is supposed to be of Ghostly figures.

I think whoever took this was smoking a cigarette. What do you think??

Well, I don't see this group making it unless there is more participation and more votes. I really thought more people would be interested in a paranormal group.

I really appreciate those who did take the time to vote and comment. Thank you!

Of those who voted it is 95% positive for a paranormal group which, is good. However, the number of people interested in a paranormal group is not very high. I'm not sure if Dustin considers the number of people or just the percentage of people who voted yes or both.

Hi Paula,

Thanks for your support and for being here. I for one, would love to hear about your experiences.

I have recently been doing some investigating and I am collecting more equipment to do so. I am a beginner no doubt, but, so far, just with my camcorder and camera, I have caught some interesting stuff. How about a fast moving ball of light moving around the room and when it stops a man appears and looks up close into the camcorder like he's curious or saying hello, I'm here? I was by myself that night. Or a lady in a black dress standing at the entrance of your hall way a couple of days later. Both are only a few seconds but, very detailed. They are not mistakable for something else.

Also, caught a digital pic of two orbs with faces in them, facing each other and moving. One an adult with a very detailed face and one a child a little more faded. No it is not lint, dust moisture or a reflection. Already checked all that out. I didn't see any of this except on the video and in the one pic out of several taken around the same time frame, same conditions, etc.

I am, currently, waiting on some paranormal investigators to come to my house and check out the tape, pic and my home. They said it will probably be after Christmas though. I have showed it to some friends around here and they are pretty amazed at what I have.

Would love to hear any thoughts or questions. Have you had any experiences like this?
