| My wife, of 23 years, met someone on Myspace a year ago, when she had a heavy alcohol addiction (two boxes of Burgandy wine a week). Eight months ago, she got together with him and sex followed. I know this because she would write down on a calender every day what they did the night before. When I found the calender, I confronted her(didn't lose my temper, but I was in shock) and she said it was all my fault. For two months, I believed it was something I did. But, thanks to all the people on this site(in the forums) I came to the realization that it wasn't 100% my fault. She was just as guilty of allowing the love to diminish. I can only hope I either find someone new to share life with or she sobers up and realizes she should have tried to work things out. For now, I'm giving her the "space" she's asking for, because taking care of my son is my most important goal! If you have something similar to strive for, that will be your answer. | Whatup with any divorce...my ex partner was doing the wild thing even when we were making the time 2 meet each other ... we met each other & kept in contact 4 nearly 2yrs then I moved we both agreed 2 be 2gether but in that time he'd been screwing around on not only myself but a few other women whom found out once I arrived here & found some emails ... anyways at the end of the day we parted ways a blessing in disguise b cos I deserved much more then an idiot who treated women like sex slaves ... even 2 date he's disgusting

| I am going on ten and ready to. She has gained alot of wieght and shows NO interest in losing any or being sexy anymore! And before you judge me I have NEVER cheated and this is my second time around. Sex sucks and I am not perfect but have at least tried to talk to her about how things are and I get no where, So I ask you, what the hell am I suppose to do? I am not dead and VERY sexually frustrated. I don't really want a divorce, we have a daughter and her and I are very close. I don't want to go through all the finacial shit after ten years, I want a sexy wife to be with and share life with not a fat lazy pig! She started on this path 3 years into this marriage. Most men cheat for this very reason!!!! We are simple as they say, why does this happen???? I doubt I will hear from anyone on this sight but I am a very honset man, not rude just honest.

| My marriage lasted 8 years. She cheated on me for 6 of those years I found out. And with a so called friend of mine at one point.
The thing I don't understand about it all is, I'm a very sexual person, and a very good lover, but she felt the need to disrespect me. On top of it all, she was a very very abusive person.
I don't let it ruin my attitude though, nor the trust I have for others. I will never allow another person to call me a fat piece of shit though like she used to.
I might be a bigger guy, but I'm all huggable and loveable hehe.

| I've done this marriage thing twice, won't let that happen again. First one was happy for eight years, and we made it to 20 before I couldn't handle her drug abuse any more and left. Second one was two years to the day. One of those things that never should have happened.
Second marriage, she had multiple affairs, I was good.

| Too Weird - My divorce was final the day I had been married 13 1/2 years exactly. The marriage wasn't good ever, but after 18 years and two daughters - i still had hope that we could at least be friendly. No such luck. And from that it took my ex 13 weeks to find the love of his life (from another site)and not only become a crazy loser - but to completely forget about being a dad too. I hope I am not single for 13 years now too! Good luck to all and enjoy each day of happiness you can have - we never know if it will last 13 days, months or years.
