Will you help to think clearly, what I do that is so wrong? Will you show me how to hold back, right from the start? Will you help me not to share, the love within my heart? Will you give me peace within, when trials come my way? When days turn into nights, and nights turn into days. Will you hear my cries for help when my day is through? When I struggle being all alone and I know he feels it, too. When all the love and compassion that you put in my soul; Struggles to come out and let the whole world know. The hurts of yesterday are vanished, they’re gone and they’re through. Will you help me not remember, the memories that I knew? Will you take them all away, as far as the East is from the West? Will you hold me in your care, since you’re the very best? Will you whisper peace and comfort deep within my soul? Will you help my mind to rest, these memories to let go? Will you keep me in your loving care when my day is through? Will you help me wake up refreshed, Dear God I pray you do.

David and others wrote meaningful lyrics capable of edification without asumming perfection. I want to write limmericks touching upon those issues in the limmerick Gong Show in this forum.
