maryg2 Philadelphia, PA age: 40	ok, im bored w/topics here while im working.....so lets have a fun thread, shall we?? let's say u r going to be a host of a party or get-together of a meet-and-greet of sorts for singles from DH and the object here is to have FUN obviously.....but also have your guests meet and mingle and possibly walk away w/some hook-ups for dates. what kind of theme would u pick for your party and what kind of foods? would u have a big get-together or something just quaint? would it be creative according to your tastes or where u live maybe?? would u invite the "one" u have your eye on if it was possible?? now of course, this is all hypoethetical.....but like i said for fun, let's see how creative u r and how enticing this party might be to want others to come!! we DO want LOVE to be in the air, dont we?? ** i would pick a Halloween party and have a Superhero theme and tell everyone to come dressed as whatever superhero they would want to be!! of course i want to be WONDER WOMAN.....i really was going to be her this yr too, but i changed my mind....maybe next yr! and my foods would be most likely finger foods served w/a punch and soda and coffee.....and alcohol is optional. i know, im NUTS!! Do a little research and have the food be aphordisiac food. Let the Champagne flow, and maybe play a little twister. When playing the music make is hot, sexy, fun tunes. Make sure the lighting is cool too. Put a bunch of candles out and turn the lights out. Maybe it could be a pajama party? And if the people say they sleep in the nude let em come nude!!

One of the gals then decided to do one in Dec...looks like close to 30 people! Potluck and BYOB...I'm sure we will have fun. Mostly likely not the F**K feast some folks would like but it is a M&G.....so low key is best.

And it'd be a masked costume party. Maybe people would have to come as one half of a famous romantic couple and you'd have to find your match. Since you're masked, you won't know who your partner is for awhile. At some point, you'd unmask, of course. So maybe your choice of romantic figure would mean a real match, or at least would inspire some interesting stories as to why you'd pick it. I'm not matching anyone! It gets the thread pulled.
