I can not afford to have more than one animal and take care of it properly. I own a Orange Canary Bird. but one day, several neighbors moved and left their animals. hearing their cry to be fed, I wept. I broke down and bought dry food. 1 cat left and then there were 2. One leaves for a few days and returns again to be fed. I don't have the heart to call the pound. Cause I know they will be put to sleep.

One male is very young and loving, but tom cats around and keeps the whole neighborhood a wake. He talks to me at the moment of site. Drives me nuts at night. I have no privacy with him meowing so loudly that he wakes the neighbors. loving but annoying? I call him Spota.. cause he has a spot a here... a spot a there.. he heee.

The other is an older female gray cat that comes and goes. I call her Gracha. She meows mild to me always. But she is severally jealous! When I put food out when Spota is around, she hisses big time! And of course, I have watched Spota, he thinks he owns the place. LOL So much character that spota! :}

I feed them one cup a food a day now. that is the best I can do. after all, they are strays. but I believe the neighbors are feeding them as well. Cause they are now fat cats! When they first showed up climbing my screen door, their ribs were showing.

I have to ask, if I had animal control to pick up one of these cats, which would I keep? which one would you keep?

A cup of food a day is a lot. I have large cats, and they are supposed to have half a cup a day. This is why they are getting so big.

And I have the same problem. I have a stray on my patio (in my house after testing/spaying/vaccination tomorrow), and all the strays want to come hang out. I need to get her inside and block it all off. As much as it sucks, I know I can't save them all. But most areas have rescue groups, and feral cat sponsors, who will do a TNR (trap/neuter/release) and make sure the entire colony is fed regularly. They will also remove and foster any animals that are deemed "friendly", then try to find them a home. I would google feral cat organizations for your area.

I couldn't call animal control, to me it would be a certain death. I'd keep both and do the best I could.

Ok then, I guess I will just keep them both till I can't feed either of them. Then God will give me the strength to what is only right. I can't see letting an animal starve till death. That is just mean.

On a note: There is coming a day on this earth when we will not even be able to feed our self. Much less an animal.

Looks like nobody read my response. Keeping them or calling animal control aren't the only options.

You obviously have internet, so use it to find rescue groups that can care for them if they are a burden to you. Maybe post their pictures on local message boards and see who will take them. I've found homes for 4 feral cats before I took in this last one myself. It's really not that hard to do if you make an attempt.
