| I have a shoe holder hanging from my closet rod, and it's full. If I want a new pair of shoes, an older pair has to give up its spot in the shoe holder. Hasn't happened in over a year.
My Barbies keep their shoes in a Tarzan lunchbox (he's quite a handsome cartoon character), and I play Barbies with my nieces and friends' kids.

Umm, I hate to break this to you, but women having a thing for shoes is sort of a cliche ... so men tend to expect it and it's not 'weird'. (You just happen to be someone who qualifies as a poster child for the cliche; 500 is, well, a lot.)

| My only problem would be thinking if I got involved with you, as a couple we would always be broke! That is an expensive obsession.
So it could become a serious problem if you could not control your spending on shoes. It could wind up ruining yhour relationships.

| As long as she has her shoes in a closet to her organization and if we become married it doesn't impact space etc., and she doesn't run up the credit card or checking account on shoes etc., she can have all the shoes she wants.
The things I pay attention for long, long term relations are:
1. Her spending habits and how she manages her money or does she participates in just crazy shopping well above her means
2. Her hygiene
3. Her attitude and how she handles herself in debates or constructive criticism
4. Her consistent actions or lack thereof
Any quirks such as tons of shoes etc., I can careless unless it falls into paragraph one.
