You can't come to agreements with people who don't see things as right and wrong
many libs only see wrong as a grey area, and think that just about anything shold be accepted as OK.........that is why we have the pro child pedophila czar in charge of the schools now........he thinks it's Ok that adult males fist and have sex with younger boys

simple things can be negotiated, but I just give you an example of things I cannot negotiate with.........

Exactly 57...But it all depends of which revolution are we talking about here?
If it is what I think it is--then SURE we have to start with his cronies..They are part of the problem not to mention we are paying for them..Bad enough president appointed them without any vetting and congress approval..

There really should have been hundreds and thousands taking to the streets shortly after JFK was assassinated in broad daylight......to send a clear message to anyone running for President that war is big, big money and whoever is Prez. will be a war President, or wind up like JFK. Then after the Dallas PD let Ruby in to take out the patsy [ who had valuable information ] millions should have taken to the streets and surrounded the city of Dallas and put Ruby on trial right then and there instead of the US Govt. making sure Jack never talked.

Now.... we have 9-11 where the US Govt. murdered 3000 totally innocents and nothing but some b*tchin going on. The evidence is like 100 times as obvious that our govt. was involved and orchestrated the event. We all know the reasons why and who the winners were after 9-11.

If we were to elect an Alex Jones or Cynthia McKinney to open up the 9-11 can of worms----he/she would be assassinated very very early..so the only answer is millions surrounding the dam entire govt. Hate to sound so negative..but reality is important.

I wonder if these phone calls really took place:

LBJ to the head of the SS on Nov. 22nd later on in the afternoon " How in the hell could you idiots let this Oswald patsy escape from the grounds of the book depository building??? Now we have to have some low life shoot him Sunday mourning at the Dallas PD when they transfer him to a diff jail.

LBJ to Dallas PD early on Nov. 24th. " Is everything set up so this Jack Rubenstein will easily have access to get into the basement to take out the patsy??

LBJ to doctor at Parkland hospital " Are you absolutely sure Lee Oswald is dead ?" On Sunday Nov. 24, 1963.

LBJ to Dallas PD chief " Are you guys making sure this Jack Rubenstein is shot up full of cancer cells and doesnt have long to live. May I also remind you not to let any reporters go near Mr. Rubenstein as this Dorothy Killgallon somehow got in to do an interview, and was about to blow the lid on the entire assassination which would be very embarrasing to me, j edgar, allen dulles, warren commsion ect.ect. These drug overdoses must stop or people might think something is going on??

tater I'm no way ignoring you..Had to leave to buy grocery's and smokes

Its Beautiful here 71 and sunny

I just got back and I'm catching up on the reading here. I did get a chance to read that one link..but in order for me to proper quote him I gotta open it or post it here

I gotta read it again..break it down.

Cause I want to make sure I am reading what this guy has said

He said something about bullying and drug use how he could be a better help with that with kids due to his experience.. That I will agree with cause anyone who has been there is more knowledgeable.

Something about a teenager reporting a sexually relationship and how Jennings said he hoped he used a condom

Gotta read it more tater ..I wish you had pasted this,one of your links:

Obama's 'Safe Schools' Czar Admits He Poorly Handled Underage Sex Case

Kevin Jennings was teaching high school in 1988 when a gay student confessed an involvement with an older man. Rather than reporting it, he told the boy, "I hope you knew to use a condom."

EDITOR'S NOTE: Since this story was originally published, the former student referred to as "Brewster" has stepped forward to reveal that he was 16 years old, not 15, at the time of the incident described in this report.

President Obama's "safe schools czar," under fire from critics who say he's unfit for his job, acknowledged Wednesday that he "should have handled [the] situation differently" years ago when he was a schoolteacher and didn't report that a 15-year-old boy told him that he was having sex with an older man.

Kevin Jennings, the founder of the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network, was teaching high school in Concord, Mass., in 1988 when the boy, a sophomore, confessed an involvement with a man he had met in a bus station bathroom in Boston. Jennings has written that he told the boy, "I hope you knew to use a condom."

In a statement issued Wednesday, Jennings said: "Twenty one years later I can see how I should have handled this situation differently. I should have asked for more information and consulted legal or medical authorities."

Click here for more on the opposition to Jennings' appointment.

Jennings, director of the Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools, said he believes his office can now help keep other new teachers from making the same mistake.

"Teachers back then had little training or guidance about this kind of thing," Jennings said. "All teachers should have a basic level of preparedness. I would like to see the Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools play a bigger role in helping to prepare teachers."

His statement came amid new discoveries about his descriptions of his interaction with the gay high school student, whom he called "Brewster" in his 1994 book, "One Teacher in 10," and in a speech he gave in 2000.

In his 2007 autobiography, "Mama's Boy, Preacher's Son: A Memoir," Jennings writes nearly the same story, but he calls the student "Robertson."

On page 162, Jennings writes: "Robertson soon told me the tale, about someone he'd met in Boston, how he thought he loved him, how heartbroken he was when his calls never got returned..."

On page 169, he continues: "As the fall wore on, Robertson continued to drop by my office to chat, often updating me on his latest 'adventures.' Sometimes these startled me, and I began to underline the importance of safe sex to him. One day he snapped back, 'Why should I use a condom? My life isn't worth saving anyway.'"

Jennings was appointed to his job because of his longtime record of working to end bullying and discrimination in schools. But his critics say he is not qualified for the job, saying he has advocated promoting homosexuality in schools, written about his past drug abuse and expressed contempt for religion.

Peter Sprigg of the Family Research Council says Jennings' past remarks about his encounter with the teenage boy call into question the sincerity of his new statement.

"It's not as though, 'Oh, this was a youthful mistake I made as a brand-new teacher, but now that I'm an adult I realize that I handled it wrong.' Because he has told this story as recently as last year, in another book, and has not expressed any regret until now. So that indicates to me that this is more out of political necessity than it is about genuine remorse," Sprigg told FOX News.

Department of Education spokesman Justin Hamilton declined to comment on Jennings' statements about the incident, since it took place in 1988.

But Obama's Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan, said Wednesday he is "honored" to work with Jennings and described him as "uniquely qualified for his job."

"Kevin Jennings has dedicated his professional career to promoting school safety," Duncan said. "He is uniquely qualified for his job and I am honored to have him on our team.

Jennings also released a statement on his past writings on drug use.

"I have written about the factors that have led me to use drugs as a teen. This experience qualifies me to help students and teachers who are confronting these issues today."

On page 103 of the same book, discussing his high school years in Hawaii in the early 1980s, Jennings wrote:

"I got stoned more often and went out to the beach at Bellows, overlooking Honolulu Harbor and the lights of the city, to drink with my buddies on Friday and Saturday nights, spending hours watching the planes take off and land at the airport, which is actually quite fascinating when you are drunk and stoned."

Sprigg said he would like to see a more specific statement from Jennings.

"We still haven't heard a clear and explicit statement from him that no one of any age should use illegal drugs, including marijuana. That would seem to be a prerequisite for the position he is in," he said.

He also said Jennings' appointment reflects poorly on the vetting procedures of the Obama administration.

"I suspect that the vetting procedure for Jennings was fairly superficial... This controversy about the possible statutory rape was raised in 2004 when he received an award from the NEA. So it's not like it's been a secret. So I think it shows yet another failure of the Obama administration's vetting process."

That he failed to report a situation where a high school boy went to him to report that a older man and him where having a sexually relationship.

How does one FAIL to report this? This was in 1988 in the state of Mass, the boy was 16 yrs old of legal age to have sex. While I do agree in the 70's many didnt know how to "handle" these types of situations including rape. I would have thought by the 80's ppl would know what to do. I see his respond as a typical( sorry guys but this is true )guy being a smart a** about it all! OF COURSE I agree it should have been reported. Makes me wonder what else hasnt been reported by him.

Even to this day stuff like this happens ALL the time within the school setting. TRUE!
Also what happens is teachers "bothering" children and nothing being done about it!!

Dont get me started....

Ya know kids are suppose to be able to trust teachers..but I'm telling you that even in the 70's that wasnt always something we even had while in high school

“I was 16 when Kevin gave me the advice he gave me. I was born in July of 1971, and the conversation happened in 1988,” Brewster told FOX News on Friday.

"I had no sexual contact with anybody at the time, though I was entirely legally free to do so," Brewster said in an interview with Media Matters, a left-wing group.

The latest statements by "Brewster" are not entirely consistent with Jennings' various accounts of the 1988 incident, including at least one reference in Jennings' writings and speeches to a "15-year-old" to whom he said “I hope you knew to use a condom.”

The story changes!!

"I said, 'What were you doing in Boston on a school night, Brewster?'” Jennings said to a rally in Iowa in 2000.

“He got very quiet, and he finally looked at me and said, 'Well I met someone in the bus station bathroom and I went home with him,'" Jennings recounted. "High school sophomore, 15 years old … I looked at Brewster and said, 'You know, I hope you knew to use a condom.’ He said to me something I will never forget, He said ‘Why should I, my life isn’t worth saving anyway.'"

sighs ...the words of a troubled young teenage male and no one to help him..Cause he went to Jennings spoke out and it was no big deal attitude ,with a smart mouth reply!

Whatever the precise circumstances of the "Brewster" case, Jennings on Wednesday issued a statement acknowledging the criticism of his role in it.

"Twenty one years later I can see how I should have handled this situation differently," he wrote. "I should have asked for more information and consulted legal or medical authorities."

"Teachers back then had little training or guidance about this kind of thing," Jennings said. "All teachers should have a basic level of preparedness. I would like to see the Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools play a bigger role in helping to prepare teachers."

Yes he should have handled it better..we all agree with this.Seems he -Jennings now a older man- is sorry for his lack of concern and admits he should of handled it better.

It is also true teachers back then didnt have proper training for this..HOWEVER...
I can not believe he as an adult didnt handle the situation as an adult back then.
I dont understand that one at all. If it had been a female reporting this would he had handled it properly?

Do I think his LACK of concern was over his(Jennings) own sexuality?

I dunno and I would hate to think this was why he didnt seem to care enough when this took place with his smart a** remark about a condom.
Did he know if the 16 yr old boy was gay?

but see now the 16 yr old changed the story..do Who knows

We all make mistakes and hopefully learn from them. We dont know if Jennings continued this kind of or lack of concern for other students

So I cant hang the guy ..That doesnt mean I approved what he did either

I think if this was just a one time thing..Then Jennings doesnt deserve to be hung over this.

Yes we all know better now to listen,help a person and report this.. If this was to happen now..OMG shit would hit the fan for sure. You hear the story now and we are P'Oed and rightfully so. I know small town schools that get away with more than this..compare this to what happens today in school this is minor

I cant though place the judgment on him or about him that he is a bad man
He was just STUPID/IGNORANT ..as many ppl were about these types of things ,even rape.
However in the school setting there should be no room for error over things like this

I do agree -- one that has been there is better equipped in how to handle dealing and helping ppl with drug use.

It sounds to me that this man Jennings has done a lot of good and is a respected man..even though he messed up ..One time that we know about..I am of the forgiving nature therefore I am not gonna go on the war path about this One time mistake.

School safety is very important too..Sounds to me he is a dedicated man with this.

My conclusion does not involve what his sexuality is and I dont think it had anything to do with his smart mouth comment 21 yrs ago.

He just made a mistake 21 yrs ago one time... so I am just going by what I have read here without further investigating and not knowing any other mistakes or errors of his way

No I absolutely do not want a revolution. I want an HONEST and representative government. I want HONEST Judges. I want HONEST politicians. I want HONEST police.
I will take a revolution if that is the only way to make a significant change for the better. (I have no idea how to guarantee better from a revolution though).

I dont know about the judges and the police..............but the only way your going to get a true representative republic or govt. and honest politicians is to throw ALL of them out and start over. If the Constitution needs to be changed so the elite cannot manipulate it--then so be it. Some form of Revolution every generation to keep the fruits of liberty alive and well.

The more I think about it.......I think I will take a King!! Get rid of these stinking bought and paid for crooked a** Congressmen/women. Get rid of the 2 party phony mafiosi parties who make excuses for each others crimes. Give me a King......and when he really screws up---then we the people can overthrow his ass!!!!!!!! Or a queen--same scenario!!!!!

Just politicians telling the truth would be a revolutionary act....

Tell the truth about 9-11 (Neo-Cons)
Tell the truth about who the politicans REALLY represent in the Beltway (Big industry lobbyists)

Just those two truths would change the world.

Imagine a world without wars and a congress who actually worked for the people.

57..I watched the video on JFK while in the car and one of then men in the car motiones the guards away from the car..The guards are like

Then shortly after JKF is shot and killed

Now who was that man that motioned the guards away? HE KNOWS What Is About To Happen!!

JKF his speech very powerful and heartfelt..as he warns us all of secret societies
I started a thread few days ago about this and unfortunately is died quickly.

Seems no one wanted to know who all the secret societies are and what they really represent.

I wanted to reply in my thread but couldnt ..sighs..I dunno who all even saw it but someone said they all were saying I Love you in the sign language.. I'm here to tell you they DID NOT sign I Love You!

Listen to this ..be careful now its very powerful and heartfelt..Listen

I believe Bush created some "bill" or what ever its called that excuses him for his part in all of the 9-11 doings

From that I take it he can never be tried...sighs

He did this while so many went along with his shock and awe

Anyone involved should be held ACCOUNTABLE for this yet we all know the cover up that was made and played out right before our eyes in plain day light

Yes he and others fooled millions of ppl

Due to this much blood has been shed from all

Blood is on the hands of America

We gotta Do something damn it!

while I wish those things too,, its just that, a wish. The reality, is that naked force has solved more conflicts through out history than any other means. While you are wishing for this. THEY are laughing at the whole lot of the general public because their plans have gone almost exactly the way they had planned. and while you keep wishing, NOTHING will change.

The ONLY way it will is to cut off the head. Im not talking about the puppets in Washington. You have to get rid of their bosses. without them the puppets below are lost, and cant function without their instructions. AFTER that then you MIGHT be able to have REAL governmental reform and get the kind of people in Washington that are SUPPOSED to be there.

We need to find other groups of ppl that are seeking the same as us..Bond together and Unite

working for the same purpose

If any of us comes across such groups..You need to TELL US

So we can check that out and decide for our selfs if they are on the Up and Up etc..

was thinking we need to Make a New Arising a Firm Stand Together

This needs to be BIG and organize this celebration with Music,Food and a positive outlook for what we seek

Get ahold of big band names let them come jam as we UNITE

Allow speakers and I dont wanna hear the Rep/Dem crap..ALL People

Allow them to speak to us and give us that strength we need with the know how to accomplish

Our Dream...OUR AMERICA...and OUR CHILDREN NEED US TO DO THIS...AMERICAN'S NEED THIS

^^^ Exactly.

And OP, just who, pray tell, will lead this revolution? Will the new boss be better than the old? And if not, will this new power structure simply step aside and let another take power without a fight? All I can see total anarchy, which I think is the secret wish of our vaunted and righteous “protectors”.

Yes in the Human Spirit zap

I dunno about the take America back of Obama..for I am speaking from my heart only and of sound logical mind

I will say though

Every side matters as a new government grows...It is WE The People For The People

Drop down the pettiness ..let all the anger go that you have against your brother and UNITE

Those they come to fight amongst us are of No good

Embrace your neighbor ..Allow the change to come from Within Each of us

You cant over power evil with evil..You must raise above remain in the light

Then we can bring the people together

Everyone - towards one another drop down the sword that kills and words that penetrate deep in anger..for if you dont we shall fail and they have won and we will be no more
You cant fight amongst yourselves if you want to achieve this
We need one another dont you see?
Come together for the betterment of MANKIND

Can you over come all the ridiculous hate and bitterness to strive for a better America?

Uh, Excuse me? I only show a lack of tolerance for those who support the RW nutbagger's agendas Foxy...not sure where you see I "hate" my SANE fellow Americans. I am for peace and that means as well no more Christian extremist sponsored wars from either sides of what makes this world a violent place...even tho~ most of us have evolved past seeing the need for greed and the wars that come from those, I also have the upmost contempt for racisms which many of the T-baggers carry around with them unspoken..or obvious here in the DH kindergarten clubhouse.

You've seen enough of my posts to know that! Maybe you missed my threads on how the religious extremists influenced us into these wars? The "God" vote?

Or check out this book, it's all well documented: (for one of many examples)

"With God on Our Side: One Man's War Against an Evangelical Coup in America's Military"

Google it. Enjoy...

~~~
So how am I to "come together" with loony people who are threatening to attack the country I swore to protect? I don't think there's much common ground with me and FOCKS "news" viewers...they are the most delusional people in this country, uninformed ignorant loons...simply un-American.
We can't even get a HC bill through and it's these people opposing reforms on many fronts who were part of the past problem that got us into this mess..TALK to them but good luck, they are ridiculous! They cannot be reached...I've tried, read the loony woman slamming me on my HC thread for example...geez.
I am NOT the problem...
That's cool but I hope you consider what I was saying...the GOP and Big Industry are in bed together and are relly doing a number on people. OK, some Bluedogs need to be challenged but it's mostly a conservative extremist agenda of oppositions to resolves (without giving an inch) that drives me UP the wall
Thanks...
My thoughts on "Take the country back only refers to the principles that embody the constitution and the Declaration of Independence.
We have a right to relative honesty and integrity within the government as well as the right not to be fleeced too much. We shouldn't be beaten to hard and we should never be given the big fat one to our faces. What is America's should stay in America. We do not need some jackass in some fancy white house giving everything away. I do not want to be anybodies coolie and I do not want my kids speaking Chinese or Farsi. (I suppose I could tolerate a little Spanish).
If we have to teach our kids a new language let them learn Advanced Colt or conversational Uzi. Maybe a little Rugger 101 or Remmington .308.
Obviously you don't respect the results of a duly held election.
Now you know how we felt with the 8 disastrous years of D*ck Cheney and his sidekick
George W. Bush.
It will probably take a decade to repair the damage.
Foxy,
Just a sideline. The Obama administration is putting in a lot more money for
special needs children compared to W.
The Obama administration is tightening up the EPA rules against all the toxic chemicals that we and our children are exposed to,,,
Bush pretty much decimated the EPA.
There are going to be a lot of improvements from the 8 disastrous years of the
Cheney administration along with his sidekick George W. Bush.
Blah, blah, blah........ If the huge corporations tell him to loosen up on the EPA rules, ect. ect.--he will do so with a phony a** speech why he has to blah blah blah.
1 more thing............If and I mean IF the script calls for Obama to authorize some kind of bio or chemical attack here in the USA to usher in martial law and a police state---he will do it in a heartbeat. All depends on the script......but bet the house this guy will do exactly what he is told to do.
So the EPA is going to stop dumping toxic chemicals in our drinking water like fluoride and chlorine? and all the other additives they put in there to dumb down and sterilize the general public? Or the chemicals the Government sprays directly into our skies all the time like micro powder aluminum, or bromide and different things that cause Magellan disease? is that the clean up your talking about? Are they going to clean up their own act that they are doing on purpose to the American public? Until I see that, your freakin EPA remains as corrupt a problem as everything else in Washington.
