| I don't think it is much different than real world dating. The only difference is if you don't have a web cam, they can hide a lot, and I mean a lot.
But, in the real world people hide their baggage, have their skeleton's in their closets, hide their mental instabilities and hide their selfishness. Then there are those on line and in the real world who are as honest as they can be.
During my tour here, I have not limited my dating to on line dating, and during that time, I have encountered all of the above on line as well as in person. I guess they call that life.

#-2 Carrying Baggage/ Got Issues- Yes most Women will not let go of their past lovers memorys, As in ( Abusive relationships )
#-3 Not What Their Profile Claims- Most are Financially strapped and never divoldge that till it`s date night..
#-4 Psychologically Unbalanced They have hidden their mental issues well
when e mailing and IM but the moment you speak to them on the phone a few times
you start noticing things ( Bi- Polar Dis Order-- Personality Dis Order )
#-5 I wasn`t looking for someone to support and Assuming they were telling the truth on the profile as in Financial..As they say I`m looking for someone to Compliment,,, Not Complicate
#-6 Refer to #`s 2-3-4-5 The worst part is the time that they have wasted lying versus telling the truth in the begining,,Enabling me to make a Informed decision based on the true facts,
