I'm not sure if you've ever been to the Columbus Zoo but they have an amazing light display every year!

There are many spots in the southwest part of the state. They have Pyramid hill in Hamilton, Ohio. And in Cincinnati, there is the Cincinnati zoo, and Kings Island. Then there is a spot or two in Fairfield Ohio also. There is one spot in Fairfield where there are about three residential blocks that people set out their decorations for contests that are totally awsome !!!

Just do a Google Search for "Ohio Christmas Light Displays" -- there's bunches!! You can even put in a particular city, too, and narrow it down.

I haven't been there this year, but for many years I've visited the Columbus Zoo's "Wildlight Wonderland" -- it's phenomenal!!

My family used to have a tradition when I was growing up in Bucyrus. We would take a few vehicles and load up as many of us as possible on a particular day. And we all go looking at the displays in the town.

I always loved it. Everyone that was there would go. It was awesome.

I can't remember if it was a particular thing for the town though. It was just regular peoples houses going all out with there displays.

Pretty

Have you ever been to Clifton Mills? It's an actual mill in the small town of Clifton. Since it sets by a small gorge/creek, they string lights over both sides of the gorge. There is a covered bridge that you walk through from the parking lot to get to the mill. They have various displays on the grounds. And they have a "real" santa tha pops out of his work shops' chimney every hour or so. They also have the biggest collection of santas in the world (over 3,000 I think). The water wheel actually works althought it is motor driven and not water driven. I believe that there are over two million lights displayed. Think the cost is under $10 for adults.

From Amanada, Clifton would be slightly WNW. To use Washington Court House of a reference point, you would take Rt. 35 till it runs into Rt. 72 N. Clifton Mills is a few miles up the road. Another reference if looking at an Ohio roadmap, find Springfield (west of Columbus on I-70). Rt. 72 runs south from Springfield and Clifton is approx 11 miles or so.

Hope this helps a bit.

There's a whopper of one, on a house, in Oregon, Ohio. Maumee, Ohio, has some very nice displaces in neighborhoods as well. I think some people tend to want to compete amongst themselves, but they still come out looking absolutely awesome on a dark, starry night.

If you really, truly want Christmas light displays...head to the Toledo Zoo. I think there may be a million lights there.

I stand corrected...there are over a million lights. Go to their homepage and click on upcoming events, click on winter events. Look for Lights Before Christmas. Hope this helps!

take 70 east to 77 south into Wheeling West Virginia. they have an entire city filled with christmas lights. takes about 2 hours to get there, but it is well worth the trip. they have an entire 18 hole golf course filled with christmas lights.

also, on Riverside drive near Upper Arlington, there is a Christmas lights display along the river bank. i think its $5 a car load to get in to see them. that one is about 2 or 3 miles long and has motorized lighted displays and all.

Hope this helps with your search.
