| well, sorry folks, but you are stuck with me!
I have found some pretty amazing people here! Some nites, I agree..there is nothing but bickering going on or wild sex remarks and I'm just not in the mood. So I just go to quieter threads and hang out.. Other times I'm feeling fiesty and jump right in.
Guess it's all in the eye of the reader. All of us were new at one time on here. You don't have to be a big participant to feel welcome. I think most are pretty darn excepting of new people! JMO

| I think a lot may have to do with the New Year
Such as a resolution not to spend another year on DH
looking for something they may never find
I also think the bickering and non interesting threads may have
alot to do with the older members leaving
I noticed that most members tend to come back, even if only for a few more weeks

| I'm glad you are staying truthful.
I can't say I haven't thought of leaving a time or two becaue of the crudeness and vulgar posts. If I see it is that way I just back out and go elsewhere. I don't expect to meet anyone and wasn't really why I joined. I joined to be with people who are also single, we might have more in common. Nothing like being that third wheel right? I've made a few friends and who knows I might get lucky. I'm at least being optimistic about 08.
I've talked with a few and they think about leaving because of acceptance issues and feeling out of place. Thats a real shame too. Everyone should be welcome and treated well. Interaction should be with everyone not just a select few. Its a community not a clique.

| I would like to address the so called "Clique" if i may and hopefully this will not stray away too much from the original topic.
Some of us who have been here for a while , have gotten to know each other and are happy to see new people coming in.
With that being said , we "the Regulars" are also very much aware of new profiles because of the rash of fakes coming here just to disturb the peace and start trouble.
So you must understand that there is not so much of a "Clique" as you put it , but a group of people who prefer to deal with others that we know to be real.
Take your time and post , eventually you too will be considered a "regular" and gain the respect and acceptance of every one here.
Fake profiles make it hard for everyone to get along, i just hope all the new people would understand that this is not personal , we too were new at one time here.
Come join the fun, be yourself and most of all be real.
The reason why so many leave is because of "fakers" and their disruptive comments.
This is much like the real world , some people you trust , some you smile to and walk away from.
