I didn't read all the comments but I've seen a a few threads from people airing out their dirty laundry regarding other DH members. Does not look attractive to a potential mate seeing a thread with them using handles Some things should remain private or left alone.

I enjoy my friends here, try to welcome new people.

It's silly to think that you're being ignored, just because you post and folks don't respond. I have DH open while doing other things. I also don't have to respond to every post, they may not interest me, or may be too close to handle.

Send an email, make friends...sheesh!

I left for a short time, realized I needed my friends here. Good friends are hard to come by, I value my friends here.

I'm fairly new but feel I have been welcomed by many - some of who are regulars. But as others said - I go to the forums/groups that I have the most in common with. I post alot, but I also send private e-mails. Yes, I have been burned by sending a private e-mail and then having it put out for all to see. It was a learning experience, and I will not e-mail that person again. While the majority of us are looking for that "special someone", its good to make friends - male and female. This is just my opinion and others may not agree.

the veracity of a profile has nothing t do with the little kid games being played here daily.

The site is what you make of it. There will always be people who have issues with others. It would be the same in real life as well so the difference would be none.

well, I for one, still agree with what Troy said...heck, i've only been on the forums for a few months, and you either jump in and have fun, get to know the "regulars" or you just go to the threads that are more at your comfort zone...and heck, you can't please everyone..we all lead very different lives in different parts of the country..or countries (Australia!)...we all came here with a past and some just carry more baggage than others...it's up to you to feel where you fit or just sit on the sidelines..
Your life is yours to make. Others can't do that for you!

Who the hell wants to be positive all the time..all it can lead to is happiness , everlasting happiness..who in their right mind would want that? when you can have minutes, hours, days..months, yes..even years of peaceful..crappy misery. to Heck with happiness..bring me your misery so I can share that crappy feeling with you..

Happiness is what you make it..follow your dreams and destiny will find you..but I have learned something fairly profound..wherever I go..there I am. I can run and run til my legs fall off..but I cannot run from myself.Whatever problems I try to elude..or leave behind..somehow always find me..until I face them.
It is the same here online..all the b*tches and a**holes are coming thru the word work this time of year because this season brings about cabin fever..for those of us in cold climates anyway. We're stuck indoors, so we either have to face our demons or come online and pretend they dont bother us.
Spring and Summer will bring out a change on the internet community..I stake Caster's living on it. (I've lost enough bets to know not to put my own money down )

Just ride the tide til it mellows out..it gets better...it really does..
Happy New Year

well I stated earlier about clicks (cliques), and not sure if troy was responding to that..and what you said about regulars troy we'll put! However....Ive been a regular on other sites and just got fed up with the clicks...and just for the record...clicks and regulars are not the same thing.

The clicks that I was referring to are those that stand behind whomever even when their friend is wrong, then attacking this other person. They dont know any of the story or got part of it and still talk crap on the original person....too many person's but I think you will get my meaning! Before its over the whole click to that one party is now against the new guy/girl, without giving them a chance. Now that I have totally confused all of you! lol!

I am NOT repeat NOT, talking of any particular incidence or person male or female just observation.

Now...this is all just my opinion the way I see it..thats all.

I think the one thing that this kind of contact is forgetting is text does not show emotion..we need to keep this in mind when reading a post or thread etc. then just start asking questions if you dont understand, its called communication.

Again I am not attacking anyone here if you think that is the case email me we'll work it out.

Now I am going back to having a good time, thats why Im here!

Very well put busymanfour

I agree with everything you said especially the part about
people jumping on the bandwagon to down grade a person they
don't know just because a friend of theirs dosen't like them

I do think some new people don't get a fair chance some times.

Personally, I'm still trying to live down the bad rep I got when I first joined.

I made my bed and I'm prepared to lie in it
but it is getting a bit uncomfortable
