What i would say is you are a great
man for taking your life back and
seeing what you were missing
life is short to begin with so now
you can live a longer life and be
healthy

Yeah, I used to drink a lot too when I was younger, for about 15 years.
I really stopped when I was 30.
Not that I really wanted to quit, it just wasn't fun anymore and I was tired of it.
Seems like a big waste of time.
I'll still go out occasionally but I was just thinking as I woke up this morning that I'm glad I didn't go out last night.
Yeah, I went and had one beer but drinking now seems like you are cheating yourself,
I work all week to get to a weekend and waste one day drunk and another day hung over,
It just makes no sense anymore, boring really.

Not that I'm in some program or am a reformed alcoholic, I just grew out of that phase.
I still can't believe how much money and time I pissed away on beer when I was in my 20's, I could have bought a house for that.
