| not much here at the moment... The last real wind storm we had though picked up my 35 ft trailer and slammed it down breaking the blocks. I didnt own it at the time but I think that's one reason that they sold it to me so cheap, cuz pretty much everything works alright- exept the fridge likes to freeze things.

| Not so bad here today Yle but yesterday was enough to knock out power to almost the entire town of Chico and surrounding areas. About half the town is still without power.
Its crazy, trees down all over. The winds were about 60/mph with 80/mph gusts I think they said.
I had to come home from work while I still could. I drive a little Dodge and it was being blown all over. I was gripping the wheel so hard my hands cramped.
The rain has let up tonight and the wind has died down some but they say it will pick up in the am.
Hope it blows itself out this weekend. I don't want to have to drive in it Monday.

i was raised in Placerville,(But have been gone for decades) I often spoke of storms like this throughout my life. That is 120 Inches of snow yes that is entirely possible there just in case anyone else is wondering about the math. No snow here to even begin to his the 1% mark of that. Actually it was 70 degrees yesterday and a warm morning here.
Hit the new powder at Heavenly. YAH--

| Wow, I went down to the beach to go to the store to get cheese(a bit ironic considering I was riding my bike) I found a bike tire on the beach so I was going to go grab it and it was a buried bike! a good looking one!! I tried to lift it up but was having problems and left it(there were large driftwood peices over it and seaweed and rock/sand covering it by about 6 inches deep). I knew I would have a hard time bringing two bikes home also. I wouldve needed someone to help me or a shovel or something. But that was a real interesting find- I wonder if someone put it there and then it got buried or if it came in in the night or something. could the waves bring something in like that?
