| Any of you folks out West here getting slammed by this humongous storm? In the Tahoe area it's the biggest storm I've seen since the mid '80's. We're supposed to get up to 10 feet of snow in the upper elevations. There was a wind gust earlier today clocked at 167 mph at one of the monitoring stations on a mountaintop. Anybody else "enjoying" this storm on steroids?

That storm your talking about raged threw the bay area up to about 2 hrs ago(Bay Area). Can actually see stars right now. Another storm front coming in tomorrow with thunder and lightning. Supposed to go until Monday. I was out this morning and it flooded alot of the freeway underpasses. Nasty f@ckig storm.

| I heard the San Mateo bridge was swaying pretty good.
I just got done shoveling snow up here and have to start all over again.

Yle- Yeah, there were places in Los Gatos where the wind was 92mph. They shut down the San Rafael bridge today due to wind and big rig accidents.

| The storm has hit us very hard, very dark all day, power out for most of the day, thunder all day long, winds are so strong you can't walk outside, my bar B Q grill landed on my neighbor's back yard, trees are blocking the streets and I just heard tomorrow will be worst! I think I'll go to bed now before my power goes out again

| Why can't you guys turn most of the weather loose, not keep it all on the west coast and allow it to drift inland??? It is headed our way, but not till sunday, monday and tuesday..... We need the moisture more than anyone what with the major drought we have been plagued with for a few years now! Course, this is the desert you know...........
