This must be maybe the 6th or 7th dating website I've tried and have yet to find anyone. I am new to DH,but at all the others,I get no or few responses when I message someone. And little or no views from anyone. Is it my profile,pictures or am I just cursed?I have been divorced for nearly 5 years now.

Ladies: Please check out my profile and tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Nothing wrong with your picture. I didn't look at your profile but hopefully you have more pics of you showing you having fun or doing things that interest you.

I'm no expert, but...I think you have to be both (1) aggressive and (2) creative about contacting people. It is hard to get their attention. Read their profiles. Find something that interests you. Use a creative subject line, and ask something interesting about their profile. Also, pay them a tasteful compliment. That may not be a "formula" exactly but it has worked pretty well for me.

I too have been and am on many websites. one advantage this one has is it is free. but the profile options and search options are terrible. there is nowhere to list your favorite activities, books, music, sports or anything like that. and then there is no way to search based on those things.

I haven't seen your profile but I think it has more to do with the site and the format than you or your profile. Not to mention that computer matching is harder than most people think. We figure that since computers can add 1000x faster than they did 20years ago that they can find the perfect mate instantly. Not so.

I guess it would help,too if I participate more with the Forums.You can get support,advice and others opinions.This also gives you more exposure to someone who may be interested......... I think I just answered my own question!

Hi, Bobdj! I want to make an observation. I'm guessing it would be a better idea ,if you only have a few pictures, that the Hooter's girls picture might give the impression you're only into model like girls. Either use more pictures or lose that one. Good job on everything else and good luck!

I am still not getting messages.And the ones I send messages to,they view my profile but don't respond. What gives?????? At least respond one way or another! I sure don't know what women are looking for on these singles websites!
