I have heard your arguments from "christian" teachers, and they supported them with scripture, as i am sure you can also.
Many years ago i began to look at these things from different perspectives and found evidence that seemed to put "religious" arguments under suspecion, if not outright disprove them.
I believe that the Jews were chosen, but not in the way that is undersood by the majority of Jews, christians, and others.
We are compelled to "believe" something because of deep seated needs which are rationalized and justified at the conscious level.
Are you open to reviewing your beliefs if that process may lead to rejection of most of what you now believe?

| A curiosity: Does anyone know somebody who ever married in any variation of the three... An Islamic marries someone of the Christian faith, Christian marries someone of the Jewish faith, and most oddly, Judaist marries someone of the Islamic faith? I'd love to know how that works out, or if it really could.

Each will have a different story I'm sure, but one or two examples on this thread may site interesting discussion. I could see the problems and solutions, and think they're all worth mentioning. It has the potentual to give insight, though ultimately it will come down to the induviduals involved. True that.

| From those successful inter-religious marriages that i have seen, there is love and acceptance of the differences. Depends on so many factors. I can't see a fundamentalist of any sort having a successful relationship with anything other than another memeber of their specific group. And i doubt if their marriage is statistically any better than the norm...
Another thread asking if a christian or jew would consider marrying a muslim might bring a response.

| well, feel good while you can....the usa's christian evangelicals could push the U.S. into
a war against muslims if they don't clean up their "terrorist" factions...Unfortunately for
them, they sit on a lot of oil, so justification for war would be easily given as national

hmmm ,, i remember i was chrystian for more than 10 years , a very dedicated born again chrystian and i read allllllllllllllllll of the holy books from jenesis to revelation, going through the prophets and all the good STUFF.
Iam really surprised when you demonise islam for the violent , and i agree with you on all of that , BUT dont you see the hatred and blood that was poured through the centuries from the bible and biblical figures ??
iam not going into debate with any one, and iam in no position to defend isalm , i dont know more than amy of you know, its i have the advantage of having a family of muslims and i know how great they are and my mother died a muslim, wih such hatred i hate to put my mother's name here, i know its a shame , its just i dont know i really dont ,

Yup...they really have nothing to be proud of. ....Violence seems to be a part of creation, wouldn't you say?...
Creation reflects the creator!
Ergo, the creator must be as evil(violent) as good!
There are perspectives within Islam and all other religions that are less objectional than
others.
My position is that Islam should clean up Islam, and christians should clean up the filth in their own religion. This process shouldn't take more than another 20 thousand years!
