I look forward to every moment I can spend with my three children first and foremost. But for me time I prefer to be fishing or walking in the forest. Nature is my personal commune where I can wash away the day's dirt and grime. Nothing like making a fire and reading a good book while being encompassed by the sweet smells and sounds of nature.

You are right , dear Contry...I wrote METAL instead of MENTAL..
Perhaps it's my subcontious headbanger trying to come out and play.
Or perhaps i just typed too fast and didn't bother to read what i wrote.

too many things to list... I think the most common everyday thing I do is make time to notice the beauty around me.

Sometimes, its the way the sun or moon is lighting up the clouds; squirrels getting into a fight LOL! (thats a funny one); when it is snowing taking the time to go out in it and feel the snow flakes on my lashes; stopping to watch other people interact and smile; or watching a child discover the world, in the way only a child can do... and if I capture it on film... All the better!

Corny- but it works for me. I don't always have huge chunks of time to treat myself. so every moment I create...seems to help sustain the serenity and peace inside.

you mean, that's it? no one else wants to share what they enjoy doing with their "me"
time..
too bad, because you know people will read this and think, "hey i like doing that too, maybe i should e-mail so and so"..

ok then...

i still think massage is the best thing ever!

I mostly get on here to see what everyone else is doing. But I love a quite bubble bath with candles, wine and music. Just lie there and relax. But then again if there was a man around .....opps off subject And a massage would be wonderfull too,but they are just too expensive to get very often.

I like being in my garden. I really love how the different plants smell, together with a nice rich loamy soil. You know, when it's very early in the morning and it's real quiet, I swear I can hear those nasty tomato worms chomping down on my tomato plants. My kids think I'm crazy but I tell them I can hear them chewing!
I used to have all my music equipment set up where I have the washer and drier and so everytime I did laundry I'd flip a few switches on and rock out until the clothes were done. These days there seems to be a lot more laundry than there is chances to rock.

it all depends on how you view massage.. if you look at it as preventative maintnence it's not so expensive.. if you think of it as a luxury, then yes it would seem expensive..
i look at it like this, i spend x amount on my truck each month.. well, i'm just as important.. see how that works?..

anyways... i'm off to go give someone a massage.. woohoo!

bubble baths are great too..

hey there pallybear, you are lookin good today!

Okay, this is easy, ME time is simple, RIDE, ride to work, ride to play, home, ride to the store, ride, ride, and ride some more, oh and its alot more than just a few moments.

I work to play, not work to work.

enjoy life, and I do..
