I always find it funny when women refer to themselves as animals.
I have yet to see women running around without pants and their tits hangin' out!
Conversly, I have yet to see a cow running around in pants with their tits covered!

| LOL back on the topic. I believe we are humans can stay with one person. However, three things have to be constant in the relationship, the loss of any of these will result in disinterest.
1. Communication
2. trust
3. sex.
Always need to be open minded when with someone, remember no matter how long you are together, they are still their own person.
Have to trust that person, you may not trust other people, but if you lose trust in that person, you lose faith in the relationship
Sex, have to keep physical attention, make sure you keep it spicy, if you feel you are falling into a rut, do something crazy. If you keep it spicy, you will not fail.

| I think this can be a good subject, maybe you are on to something and dont know it. You speak of ever - lasting relationships. Lets go back in time, when our grandparents were married. They stayed together forever. It would be almost unthinkable to get divorced. I am not saying it is right but if a man cheated the woman would be mad, hit him over the head with a frying pan and move on. However they would still be together. Men were terrible back then and women were there for life! I do not know everything however I can say that womens lib, and the way society accepts things now days have changed the dating world. Women are more free to do more and with this we have women who are more free to sleep with men. Now given this when a man can have more than one or two friends (female). Why would he want to settle with only one? Why go through the trouble of taking the chance of losing all you have worked for to marry? If you have noticed men have changed also it seems alot of men have become the "house wife" trying to do anything, almost begging to get a woman to marry them and the women are playing the field.
with all of this in mind I ask this.... Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?

| Midnight is correct in saying society has played a major role in fidelity. Back then society condemned divorce,premarital sex,and abortion. However, they also considered women property right along with the house. Many women stayed because they had no other options. The men were they bread winners and they were usually home tending to multiple children.
But I think you should do a little more research, women's lib did not put women in the workforce, WWI did. When husbands and sons were off to war women had to do what was necessary, putting women into a whole different mind set.
