| I just watched Someone Like You with Ashley Judd...Have you seen it?
Anyway, she studies about the "Old Cow Theory"
The bull is introduced to a cow & they mate. The next day the bring out the same cow for the bull & he wants nothing to do with her. The bathe her with a "new" cow scent & still he is not interested.
The theory is applied to humans: Once a male has sex with a female, he goes on to someone else because he is no longer interested in her. He loves the hunt, but is not really interested after he "catches" her. Are people really made to be monogamist?
I thought it might be an interesting topic to discuss.

| If we are really going to bring out the animal kingdom,why not mention the swans or the kiwi birds that mate for life?? Or certain species of spiders where females eat their males after they are done with them?

It's like this. Men have been hunting all their life. You can't stop them from doing it. However, you can make it benefit you. Give them a gun and let them go deer hunting. That way they won't have a need to hunt women and they will always stay true to you.

| So, men adorned with leafy looking clothing to hide themselves from deer,a orange hat to point out to other hunters that they are not deer, crouching in trees holding a gun are just happy with the "old cow" they already own do not look for a "new cow" ...did I get that right bassman?

| This is not MY theory. I am lucky enough to be able to say that I have not been cheated on by a spouse. That is not why I am single. I just thought it would be a fun topic.

| Faith, That may be true for some of the dogs.
I personally would like to find that one lady to spend the rest of my life with. I'm not about to take anyone's theories to heart especially if they interfere with my dreams and hopes.
