We live in the age of technology, every single person who is reading this post knows how to use a computer to access the internet. The prices of electronic devices have come down to a level where is seems everybody has a cell phone and IPOD hanging from their belt. There are phones out there that can take pictures, play music and access the internet… All this from a single cell phone!

So where am I going with this, you may ask???

We are dating in the 21st century… Use this affordable technology!!!

Post current pictures. Does your picture show the arm of your “ex” on your shoulder? Is it from that trip you took back in 1998? Think about it, you want to move forward with your life, Right? Your picture should reflect who you are NOW… Not who your were then. If you’re not willing to put a little effort into posting a clear recent picture of yourself, what is that saying to the people who view it? My opinion is that your too lazy to post a good photo, you’ll be too lazy to work at a good relationship.

When you decide to contact someone, I understand that some of you may have a “fear factor” that the person may be a psyco. Why not buy one of those cheap $19.95 cell phones that you use a calling card with? It’s a small price to pay for the security of knowing; that if you do cross paths with an undesirable character, they can’t trace your number back to any personal information.

As the world becomes more dependent on the internet we have less and less “real” contact with people. So trying to find a date here in the cyber world has become like advertising for a relationship.

Come see “Honest Jay’s” used people… Plenty of low mileage, dependable models in stock!!! We finance O.A.C.

stormi: I know what you mean. My photos aren't very good either since I had to take most of them myself....but, atleast you can actually see me in them. You might want to go ahead and take atleast one of yourself (you know holding the camera backwards at arms-length) that way the guys can see you, cuz the pics you have right now are way too far away.

Dating in the 21st century...

To date now days it's almost like you have to have your lawyer get in touch with her lawyer to work out the contract for the date.

I saw that same scene in a movie - Geezz

I agree with what you say. Some people don't let their lives revolve around the computer. It's fun like a new car yet it is not my life. It is a tool. I agree for the people who are serious. I will get a picture and make more effort. People should make an effort to set ones mind at ease in anything you do.

I like the disposable phone idea I hadn't thought of that one yet...which is surprising considering I am such a safety kind of girl.

My photos are all curretn but I could take another one tomorrow I suppose....

Thanks though for all those good tips!
