Hi i am new to this dating thing lol...been in one long term relationship or another since i was 18 years old....so now i am single and dating. big jump. had something to happen to me this week that upset me. A member on this site agreed to meet me at a casino here in vegas. now realize that i am new to vegas too as i have only been here 45 days today. Anyhow i told this person i would meet him at the canary on craig road...except the name of the place was cannery....i was there for and hour and twenty minutes waiting on this person....he never showed...i thought he stood me up at first, and sent an e-mail asking what had happened, later and then in review of our correspondance to each other i realized i gave him the wrong name of the casino...i sent my apologies via e-mail...and offered to make it up to him...neither of us gave the other a number in which we could be reached...i realize he had to drive an hour and a half one way and i felt really bad...i got no response from him...the next day i sent another e-mail and told him i thought it was pretty rotten of him not to accept my apology and that my daughter in law even suggested that he stood me up....again no response....anyway he has me on his ignore list...i think he owes me an apology and i would like your opinion on this matter....he need not worry as i have plenty to keep me busy but i really think he owes me an explanation of what happened with him that night and why he thinks this was all my fault..i do believe there was plenty of errors on both of our parts.....I also believe that he did stand me up that nite and don't know how to admit his wrong....in view of that he would not be a person i would care to be dating as i tend to prefer men who are honest and have integrity. cause i believe that personal responsiblity and honesty are sexy traits to have and it is obvious that he don't have those. Still it really bugs me that he would not accept my apology if i was in the wrong or allow me the opportunity to accept his if he was in the wrong....thank you

Barb,
My opinion don't worry about it. Some men don't have the guts to
admit they screwed up. As nice as you look. I 'm sure your email
is over flowwing. Let him be a jerk and you go on with your life.

As far as giving your number out for a first date. NOOOOOOT!
Just make sure your both on the same page and confirm.

Hi sis dont fell so bad i had meet one guy on here and i took him on a test drive and he end up crashing into the wall needless to say he thought he wuz going to scam me out of money,but i out smarted him,i know a little more about computers than he though i knew so he stuck in another country and i still looking for true love...

Sounds, like you have gotten your act together, I had something like that happpen to me one time and it came down to a ( person )wanting me to send them cash or money at a Western Union, Oh what, a poor story they told, they didn't know I was retire Law-enforcement officer, got their e-mail address and ran it, thru NCIC , called and check this dating site and they had all ready delated their profile, they went on the run Called on Big Bubba , now their waiting on posting their bond.

Send them over and let Big Bubba, give them a lesson on good manners

well thank you...i hope my post has embarrassed him more than he can stand but i doubt it...and besides i don't sweat small minds lol.....but thank you so much for the encouraging words....and i have a whole slew of e-mails i would like you to check out...because i have heard lots of sob stories wanting me to send them cash....so i know what u mean....this man just stood me up so i guess i will let him off the hook besides i would not ever want to be involved with anyone who lacked the capacity for honesty or personal responsiblity...so sometimes the worse thing that happens is the best thing that could happen and that is how i look at this man...thanks again barbalicous
