| welkiemike- That's cool you're a nice guy and all, but you have to be careful. Some women (more than you would expect actually) will try to use and exploit that. I'm all for treating the ladies with respect, but when it comes time to put your foot down, you have to be a man and do it.

1. are you needing help getting away from him ?
2. do you need to lean on me for guideance ?
she might be scared she will be out in the cold and no where
to live
bunch of questions to be ask - with out answers you will not
know what is in her mind

| mouskitt- I don't have a negative opinion of women, I have a realistic opinion of women. I love women, but they are notorious for this kind of stuff. Being attracted to jerks who abuse them and treat them like crap while stringing their 'nice guy friend' along who would treat her like a queen if she would give him a chance. Spend some time on these boards and you'll see threads about them. And they're almost all from men who are scratching their heads trying to figure it out.

| thats the way to be tho not to hell with them hooray for me....did you consider that maybe your friendship could be significant to her.I know that sometime people can really be a lost cause but have every resource been made to be a truly good friend, talk to her like Illusion said but then just keep a safe distance and if she inquires at you again there is another opportunity to plant another seed....dispite the high tail it mentality sometimes....sometimes you can make a difference. Sometimes I dont get to see the change but later I have run into people that tell me something I said stuck with them. Never know. I just believe in doing things with compassion and I can see you also are very compassionate person follow what yur spirit says not logic or any advice tht is unwholesome for the development of your attitude in what kind of person you are. much love.

| This man of hers for 13 years is obviously a married man,Probably with children.If this lady you are talking about is that vunerable,ask yourself....Do I really want another Flake in my cereal bowl? With a friend like that who needs enemies? I personally would drop her like a Hot Potatoe.Next time you're out with this new lady friend...Turn your phone off and the flakey one can't disturb you.Also sounds like she's jealous.Remember....Misery loves comfort.
