| Why do some people give such harsh answers to others sometimes? This is just for discussions...not to be mean or ugly to your fellow members.I've been told by everyone that knows me what a caring and nice person I am.I was brought up by the Golden Rule inwhich some don't know.Let me give a refresher course....Do Unto Others As You Would Have Them Do Unto You....NOT... Do Unto Others Before They Do Unto You. Come on people Lets have a little respect for each other. If you haven't got something nice to say Keep Your Trap Shut.Think about it!!!! God Bless us all.

| I understand what you are saying. Sometimes people take opinions typed online a bit too sensitive. Now, I've seen some harsh responses, but sometimes many strong opinions are taken to be too harsh and that's not the case. It's an opinion.
If I walk into a thread that's either ridiculous, crazy/weird question, or a thread that constantly show up every week, I will add pictures such as WTF? or other animated pics. You've probably seen a few. It's like WTF? with humor attached.
I have strong opinions but not harsh...
I question people who attack another person out the blue with attitude over an OPINION or simply budding into business in which they were not part of in the first place. There's a difference between a good debate and a stupid attitude attack. That is simply ridiculous and retarded especially since they don't know the person. I've seen it on the board sometimes and there have been a couple of dumb asses who came at me like that. Again, it's easy to come at a person like that online in the comfort of their home.
People share their opinions with varying attitudes based on the type of thread.

| You never know when something might "strike a nerve" in someone. A while back I posted what I thought was a funny joke. I thought I was going to have to change my email address after some of the reply’s I got because of it!
I always remember hearing “There is NO such thing as a dumb question” But some questions DESERVE a “Smart” Answer!!

| They way I look at it, some of the harsh responses you read, especially the ones that are not called for, kind of answers the question of why they are single.
I also notice that it tends to be the grey people. They will say the darness things...

| At times it is meritted but, more often than not it is someone bored and feeling invincible behind a computer screen with miles between them and whoever they are mouthing at. In real life....these same people would watch thier mouths abit more I do believe.

| I know for myself, if I give a response that is fluffy then I am not being honest with them nor myself. Sometimes the truth isn't what a person wants to hear but if they post then a person needs to expect the cons with the pros. If not, then it's better not to post a thread at all.

| Southerngent, I for one can appreciate and relate to what you are saying. Those of us from our era were raised "old skool" . I am afraid to say we are a dying breed this day and time.
I have recollected what I could of the makings of old skool character...
Rhonda's Recipe for
"OLD SKOOL"
take one memorized and used "Golden Rule" and fold it in with a complete version of the "Ten Commandments" and teachings of "Right and Wrong" ...
Stir gently and add a handful of "Morals and Family Values" and Respect. ..
Prayers can be added at any time in any amount...Tears are optional....
Spread mixture on thick throughout childhood... Repeat over and over if necessary...
Should soak in eventually and once absorbed residual effect will last a lifetime.
Recipe should yield one good hearted, loving, kind and compassionate human being each time it is used.
Can you add anything to this....Did I leave anything out...Feel free to add your own touch that you might remember...
