| I usually just thank them for the wink and say hi. That usually does the trick.
For some reason, women send winks all the time, but if guys send winks to them, they delete them and say they aren't trying hard enough.

| I send a wink back. That means I will be sending you an E-mail later. When I find free time and i'm not bouncing around the forums, I will send a note then. If I am not interested the wink back doesn't happen.

I'm feeling way betrayed oh yee of vague recall!!!!!
Didn't all of you people tell me last week that you respond minimally to a wink with a wink?
I kept saying I don't WANT to do that then I got told - oh come on you take a second to wink....
and so I was GUILTED into winking back (except at the SHADOW PEOPLE!)
now I'm finding out that basically I've been winking back and that's ASKING for an e-mail?!?!??!
ARGH!!!!!!!!!!  
I wanna do LAST week all over!!!
ok to all of you who got winks.... uhm.... where's that "no Thanks wink?"

| If I receive a wink....9/10 I will wink back...its just a push of a button.....an email...from me...usually receives a note back. Emails require thought and thinking outside the box,which deserves a response.....
There are those emails....that I don't reply to...levels to which I choose not to go....

| we hope, or atleast i hope that if i send a wink the guy will take a second to look at my profile and if he likes what he sees and READS that he will e-mail me back. its what i do. if i like what i see/read i usally will send a thankyou. if im not interested i just dont respond... sorry guys

NOPE.
Again - shooting straight from the hip (too long on the Texas thread perhaps?)
If I see someone and I am INTERESTED in what his profile says then I e-mail him and it isn't with something vague like....uh....you look hot.
I may pause over a smile - his eyes - but it's his profile and what he SAYS there about him that will hook me....
I say exactly what inspired me to write him.
I do not do it often.
So.....
It's a pretty big step on my part.
Even though... this is fictional environment
and we're all just sort of images
and may be living in vans down by the river...
or prison...
or mental wings...
