| well that really depends on your comfort level with him. if you have been talking for a couple of weeks and feel pretty comfy with him than go for it. if you get some mixed feelings from some of your conversations i would say hold off. it all comes down to your comfort level with him

| Hi Anna.I generally talk to a person on the phone for a few weeks by phone, after the initial contact on the computer. You can get to know someone this way and are ready to go to the next step of meeting in person.Nothing is etched in stone ,but a few weeks have worked for me.

| That is a tricky question I believe. There is alot to think about. If I make a bold move is he going to think I am easy. I don't want to scare him away. There are many other examples. I think as previously responded from others it depends on how both of you understand one another. If it feels like it is what you want than go for it. Just be careful as I assume you must be. We all have desires as humans Good Luck!!!!

| I believe you should meet as soon as possible.
Why go through weeks or even months of sharing personal thoughts, history, imagination, dreams, desires, and goals, (just to name a few)...by exchanging email and telephone conversations, and then when you meet, you find out it was all wasted on someone you have no interest on and even worse, wasted on someone that doesn't have an interest in you.
Be safe. Be careful. No Grey people. If you think you like someone, in a serious way. Meet as soon as possible.
I have met women on the same day we exchanged emails. I met women after a year of exchanging emails.
You know what...the end results was the same.
Now ask me which one I rather do.
The same day. It saves sooooo much.

| I don't like to wait too long to meet. It builds up expectations that might not be true. Two adults should meet, share some small talk and if there is no chemistry, you just met another person to share thoughts and feelings with.TY Ray

| Theres 2 hole people in my town, on here, so i was excited to call one, then,we talked,he told me how he beat up all the cops here and knew them by name. And was rude when he answered the phone, saying oh you finally called and you wasn't going to like what else i was going to say....he lives on the same road!!!!Then after we talked, he said, come on down here or i can come down there. My thought was, i dont want him stalking me,so no deal.Cause i drive a baby blue 69 ltd and you can't miss it.So,even tho we are in a town by the freeway with 10 fast food places i decided, NO!But his pic was cute and looked like a nice guy.BUT>.............

| I used to want to talk and im and email and let the anticipation build and really get to know them and all that jazz. Now I want to meet IMMEDIATELY LOL. This is because I've had several instances where I really was convinced that I was going to meet the man of my dreams, and once I actually met him, I was sorely disappointed. In some cases it was because he had really misrepresented himself, and in others it was just because I had built him up in my head to such a degree that NO guy could possibly have lived up to it.
And then there was the really odd one.
From the first e-mail this guy totally had my attention. He had READ my profile and had commented on a very obscure reference that I had in it at the time, on something that I'm very interested in. We talked in email, then im, then on the phone for a few weeks. And we had SO much in common!!!
So weeks later, we finally set up date night. Here's where things start to go weird. First he asks me if he can pick me up, and because we've been talking so long, I think, sure. Besides, I'm mean, and I know where the weapons are stashed in my house. Then he calls me just before he arrives (late) to ask if I can drive once he gets here, because he hasn't had a chance to clean out his car. Um - sure.
He arrives. Appearance wise, he's not quite what I expected, but I could live with reality. But here's the fun part: Somehow, he has developed a lisp that I swear to you he DID NOT HAVE on the phone. How is that POSSIBLE? Did he have an actor portray him during telephone conversations? WTF??? His mannerisms are totally Queer Eye and the lisp is right out of Hollywood Casting for the Gay Next Door Neighbor. I spent the (very brief) evening drinking as much as possible and trying desperately not to burst into laughter. He was very nice, and I really did like him; he would make the perfect gay best friend. But date? Hell to the no.
Since then, I want to meet asap. If you're weird, have eight hands, no teeth or smell funny, then I want to know before I waste a couple weeks on you. It's super easy to pick a Chili's between me and you and meet at the bar. They even have tv's with sports on that we can stare at if it turns out that we don't want to stare at each other after all.
