| I've learned that the the best time to meet is at lunch, especially if you both work and are fairly close to a nice restaurant. If you both have young children arrange a play date (around the kids) at a local park where there are swings, slides and possibly a scenic view of a lake or short nature trail. If it's an evening thing I don't agree that a movie is the best place to meet. Coffee Shops seem to be the in thing these days. Even if you don't like coffee there are teas, hot chocolate and juices you could sip on. A pool parlor is a place you could go, bowling, roller skating rinks, ice skating if available. If you time it right you could invite her to local happenings such as wine tasting events, fairs, concerts, local bands. I've met a date at the farmer market and local flea market and had a very good time. I personally stay away from the lounges, bars other meat markets.
