| I recently joined this site not quite sure who I was searching for or even what I wanted out of a relationship or friendship. All I knew was that I was seeking someone to fill a void. I believe I found exactly who and what I was looking for. The problem is that I have contacted this member but I don't think she is currently active on this site. The few emails which I have sent have not yet been viewed by her. I wonder if she will ever read them. I can certainly accept rejection but in this she simply hasn't checked her mail. What can I do? I would hate to think that this individual could have been a true friend but that I may not even get the chance to see. Does anyone out there have any advice for me. Please contact me if you do.

| Erotic, I hope what you mean is that you are happy with yourself and where you are in life and that you are looking for someone to ADD to that rather than to truly fill a void.
If you aren't happy on your own first, then when you are in a relationship with someone you will be thinking to yourself, gee they don't make me happy - must be something wrong with the relationship. Be careful pursuing that path.
I am a pretty cautious sort of gal, but if I read an email (even title of an email) from someone I have never talked to before, and they think I could be their potential soulmate, I would be concerned. Maybe someone else would be flattered, just not me.
