| Hi all, Last night I read some of your chats about immigration issues. I'll put my bottom line on this issue first: get them here, put them to work, teach them skills and have them help the US shore up its economy, social security and the overall population of our workforce. Two things that are affecting our social security assets. The first is the baby boomers and their possible exodus from the workforce over the next several years. Social security will need a boost in revenue to sustain the payout to baby boomers. Secondly, our workforce population is stymied by the great number of young people in the US who are not able to work because of drug addiction, lack of (and laziness to obtain) education/skills. That presents another lost source of social security assets. I believe we should make illegals/migrants legal members of our society, and get more of them to come here. I believe they should only collect social security (for themselves or their children) if they have paid into the system. I believe social services should help immigrants who are in our workforce. I have seen first hand their willingness to work hard and do a good job. I believe English should be the only language used in this country. Every immigrant who has ever come to America either learned the language or got their kids to learn it and translate to them.

I could care less if they are inuit hauling a truckload of aboriginies....if they are willing to go through all the redundant, obtuse and at times frigging stupid beaurocratic bullshit to be here legally....I welcome them. Other than that....don't waste the expense of transport back to thier home country.....use them as slave labor for road way systems for all I care....a bowl of rice per day and one change of clothes until thier families can send the money to have them deported back home.

| I agree with you about the Social Security problem that we are having now and in the future. I think a better solution would be to crack? down on the dope dealers and educate our children better.
The first problem is to stop the drugs ANY WAY WE CAN. Quit p*ssy-footing around and get tough with the dealers that are KILLING people. Death penalty or picking strawberries? Don't want to do migrant work that US citizens won't do? Lie down on this table and tell me about it while I put this needle in your arm.
It's not the users that we should put in jail. Give them free encarcerated rehab. And pick strawberries, too. Now that should bring part of our workforce back and free up some money from our prisons.
The second problem is education. Our education system AIN'T WORKING. FIX IT!

| By the way actions have consequences. Over 48 million babies killed since row v wade in 1973. This means at about this point at least 20 million would be of working age paying taxes including social security if you need me to explain further let me know.

| yes, millions of babies have been killed who will not be paying into social security; other young people r unemployed cause the jobs have been taken out of the country, so there really is a problem. older people planning to retire soon will not have enough young people paying into the system. also wall street keeps trying to tie ur benefits into stock which can and will fall down and u will have nothing at all.

| i LOVE diversity....but i dont love having my job taken and having to pay for taxes while others work and reap the benefits....F*CK that....i swear....when i get my check im like  ....where my money go???oh...to TAXES!!!! (and im broke as it is) I just want them to become legal...and pay taxes like me damnit....and then ask..."where MY check go?"
