Now, this is just a guess, but it *could* possibly mean that - maybe - you're not the center of her universe just yet? Maybe she had a great time with her friend and lost track of time? Maybe her mom called and needed her to come over and do something? Maybe she fell asleep?

Holy cow, I've had people tell me they'll call me right back and not call back for six DAYS LOL. People have lives and things to do and stuff that needs their attention other than me. I do too. I'll keep myself occupied until later, and then decide whether I'm okay with the delay or not. I may not even realize they never called back, and sometimes, I'm the slacker.
