So you meet someone you are interested in, after corresponding for some time online, when do you meet? If they are coming in from another state, where do they stay?

well as before
you need to be the one to make the decisions
as to when and where
keep it in your town and make him be the visitor
be honest with him and give him as much info as need but not to much
make sure its the man you want to meet
dont waist each others time
have you met any one from out of town before

My goal is to minimize online chat time and to meet as soon as possible. The big mistake many people make is talking for weeks sometime months before meeting ONLY TO BE DISAPPOINTED. There is always an exception to the rule, but you have more success TALKING live over the phone and meeting a person soon. You get MORE of a feel for the person.

Now of course DISTANCE is one of those exceptions. Long distance is tough and requires LOTS OF WORK. You can't expect to meet right away in this instance. Here, you have to communicate over the phone a lot, message or chat if you want. YOu want to learn as much and get as much of a vibe as possible. There is no right or wrong time limit here. What's important is that both of you be up front and honest about your current situation and the first possiblity.

Where they stay, again, is up to the 2 people and how comfortable they are with each other and if there's any kids involved etc... It just depends... But the hotel is always an option.

First of all have you talked to him on the phone before you decide to meet, why i was going to meet someone,after 2 months of emails, and lucky she rang me last week and to my shock comleatly diferent pearson that i thought, and natrualy i am staying in Australia.Please dont get me wrong,im not saying he could turn out the same way.
