| Not if it is the first time, but if it continues on that path, go see your GYN ASAP

| You are only 20, and I have to disagree with previous post....do not wait, go see the Dr., NOW....at your age it could be almost anything, trust me, I been there done that. I'm not trying to scare you, but you should see a GYN ASAP. Not getting to personal on here, and you don't have to answer...How old were you when you had your first period? Had intercourse? Hun, its important to take care of your body, all of it....and if you are uncomfortable with a Male DR, by all means go to a Female.....

| First time this could be stress related. You need to do what makes you feel comfortable.

| Perhaps it is the birth control you are on? I asked the doc about birth control for me yesterday he said the depo shot makes 1/3 of the women bleed more and for 1/3 of the others they have no period. He recommended against it cause it causes heavy weight gain too. I know the pill is not for me, he said at 46 an IUD is an option. I would say go to the DR to be sure you are ok.

| When you're 20 it can be.
You should call and have checked your blood for the clotting cells may be low...or if you're on birth control it could be causing issues...
If you were older then this would be nothing to worry about.
Call and get it checked shouldn't cost you too much if you aren't insured or free help at Planned Parenthood..
Take care of you.

| When i was in my teens i had mine 2 times a month. I was checked out and the doctor just said it was the changing of my body. My sister still has her's 2 times a month..She's 38 years old. She also has been checked out. She has medical problems that causes her to have it more often. Still in all go get seen. It'll take alot off your shoulders.
Good luck to you
