honeynubbin Aurora, IL age: 49	Here in the Chicago area, it's just stupid cold right now with near 0-degree-and-below windchills. And we have another winter storm coming tonight! In the summer, you can fry eggs on the hood of your car - not sure if you'd want to eat them after that though. It seems we don't get a spring or a fall anymore, we just go from heat-stroke to deep-freeze/frostbite. Every year, I'm asking myself, "Why do I live here?" What's it like where you live? Is there anywhere that has relatively moderate temperature swings over the course of the seasons? Tell me, please. I'm ready to move.

wolf_man Ada, OK age: 44	winters here are pretty calm the most of the time, and summertime can be very hot,to fairly nice i really dont think there is a perfect, place, tornado's one place hurricane's another floods, drought, earthquakes

gammatx Ennis, TX age: 49	Howdy from Texas....Born and raised in N. Indiana (Munster) Family still in IL. and IN. I know all about what you are talking about. Moved to Texas in 93 and love it. Its gets cold here but not like that and it never sticks around for long. Summer can be VERY HOT and last for days..... weeks....months..... we dont get a spring or fall either.

mred41563 Alexandria, KY age: 45	well im by cincinnati and we dont have a spring or fall eather any more just goes from hot to cold and in the winter time it cant make up its mind on if it wants to be cold or warm it will be in th teens or 20 one week then climb up to 50 the next and then back down cant get used to one or the other

gonesailingbabe Des Moines, IA age: 45	Iowa dropped 90 degrees between Monday and Tuesday this week. From 70 to the negatives in the 20 - 40 below zero range....with wind 40-60 mph. It royally bit it! Argh! Atleast you're in Chicago and not the farm fields of Iowa!

kenb5b01 Northport, WA age: 44	Western coast is pretty even for weather swings. Doesnt really get crazy hot and seldom dips below freezing but you can still tell what season it is. Anyplace west of the Cascade mountains.

The weather today was sunny and about 60 degrees out and although night time can get into the 30s sometimes in the winter, the temp stays fairly even. Most of the year it stays in the 70s, even in the summer. Yep, if you want boring weather San Diego is where you want to go.
