Hi! I'm new. When you're new you get lots of initial e-mails, winks, friend invites, etc. Ladies, if you see their picture, and you know (I mean you just KNOW) that they are not your type, do you respond or do you ignore? How do you handle unwanted requests without being rude? Help me!

Depends on what they are sending me in email if it is rude or gross I just delete but if they are nice then I tell them that I appreciate the compliment but that I am not interested JMO

I respond to all emails because just by looking at a picture I can't know who the person is inside. Winks, I don't anymore but emails I do.

Dearest Looseyloo,
I have a thing about people not responsing. I still feel that we are all still human and should at least say, I am sorry, I do not think we are a match or Lets chat and get to know each other better. On the net, it is so easy to just dismiss someone, someone that doesn't desever to be ignored. I still like to think there are gentlemen out there and ladies also that will do the right thing and just say, I'm sorry, but thanks for getting back with me. Good Luck - as for me, I think I am going to take a break and hopefully get my faith back in the human race.

Wouldn't you want advice from the men, seeing they are the ones emailing you?

Just a thought.

I personally don't have a problem if someone doesn't reply back to my email. I guess that why I don't make the first one long-winded.

I'm new as well, and I can just say I don't respond. No need in sending them a rejection or getting there hopes up by trying to be nice. That's just my two cents

I write back.

I might be looking for love, but I'm sure not going to reject a few good friends I may find along the way.

Well, by God, there are some ladies here that have their own air of class. If only I could find one in my area.

I have days when I even appreciate a wink,,, just to say someone thought of me... and I reply to each wink and mail, unless they are inappropriate.
