My car is stranded at the bottom of the hill I live on. The city doesn't see the need to plow the streets surrounding us at all. We had a 3 foot snow storm last weekend and now we are getting rain. That three feet became one foot of hard compacted gunk. Now it has become a swamp of slush.
Anyone wanna come rescue a damsel in distress??? (huh...no batting eyelashes smiley...just pretend there is one here then.  )

| I`d come and help but the plow blade on my atv isn`t up to pushing slush. Now if you`d stake out a few wild hogs in the back yard I might be more encouraged. Just as an aside, did you know that kitty litter or mechanics floor dry work great to get unstuck in slick conditions. You can also pour bleach on your tires and it`ll make them get better traction for a little bit, especially in those times when you`re on ice on flat ground but can`t get going. For the dedicated, there`s always studded tires and chains. My gawd am I glad I don`t live in yankee country. Lots of luck.

| I do have studded tires and my chains are on. Kitty litter, etc. would do wonders if it wasn't being poured onto a slushy water logged mess that is high centering my car.
Yup, have gone the route of all available options, other than getting out there and shoveling the entire road by myself by hand.
I have even called the city just after lunch complaining and then the police tonight begging for a plow to come and clear it up so my car isn't stuck partially in a traffic lane.
Oh well...cold beer in the fridge of a warm house. What more could a girl want, right???
