| OMG...how could anyone with a soul, a conscience, just walk away! Of course I would intervene...prob at my own safety, but I wouldn't be able to just stand by and do nothing!
More ppl should start getting mor involved!

| Intervene absolutely. If a guy can abuse a woman in public, he can do far worse in private and I have four neices who all have one kind or another disability because their parents were addicts and neglected them in different ways. Its been 4 years since my mother in law had to adopt them and they still have issues. I would never sit by idle and watch someone else openly neglect a child.

| I once saw a man beating the crap out of
his girlfriend. I was shocked and amazed how
many people stood by just watching.
There was blood everywhere.
I called the police and went down to talk to
the police when they came...to tell them what I saw..
Let's just say, thank God I have 7 brothers...LOl
He told me I should have minded my own f******g business,
and proceeded to threaten my life..
Needles to say she stayed with him..LOL
But I would do it again and again

| Silver is right I actually did once (Im not a fighter hate it) a guy hit this lady in a restaurant and I stood up to him told him if he does that again I would put him out. He stood up and was huge. He said let go then. Fortunatly since Im only 5'4 the guy in the next booth stood up he was huge too and said that makes two of us. so the guy backed down.
As far as children go there is a differcne in a spanking and beating. Children cant defend themselves with a beating and that I will not tolerate. Spankings however is another story. I m not a violent person at all but if a child needs to be punished the "Time Out" system doesnt work all the time JMO
