| I could just as easily post, "do men like sane women?" Because I've seen just as many men go running back to the cracked out bi-polar b*tch when the sweet girl at the office is just waiting on him to say the word.
It may happen sometimes, but not nearly as much as women do it. Women do it to the point where it's become almost cliche: 'Nice guys finish last.' That's where that came from. Women generally like bad boys, they like men they think they can mold and save. Then when they get older and they can't attract bad boys anymore, they want a nice guy that will marry them and provide security for them.

I guess girls just aren't attracted to nice guys who they know they can have, but rather go after the challenge, and end up with arsehole boyfriends...
Even as I'm sitting here writing this, I can tell u that i fall in2 that category. So I know this, yet i still continue to find myself attracted to the "bad boys", and ignoring the good ones. And the question is why? ...I'm completely sane, i know what i want from life and i know that "bad boys" cant give me that, yet i still act like this...
Go figure.

| I would like to think that with age comes wisdom.........it's not that I can't attract any "badboys" just have sense enough about myself and what I want to stay away from them.
I would take sweet over bad anyday.....  ...as much as you men don't want the drama, some of us women don't want it either...JMO

| I would like to think that with age comes wisdom too. Generally with women, it doesn't, not when you're talking about relationships. They spend their younger years dating losers who treat them like crap and then when they get older, they want to marry a nice guy who will provide for them. When they can't find a guy who wants to marry them, they typically get bitter and angry and blame men for their relationship woes past and present when it's really themselves who are at fault.

I know I'm only young, but i'm not stupid... Of course I can see that the "bad boys" are going to treat you like crap etc, but I guess there is always a part of u that hopes they will change.

| Tas- It's the truth dear. This is generally what women do. They think they can mold, change, and save these bad boys, but it doesn't happen. It's the eternal delusion of the female species and it's their constant downfall and what keeps them from fulfillment and contentment in relationships. They always, always, always think they can change men. YOU CAN'T!!

| Women who are younger seek out the 'bad boy' for his engendering DNA, the kind that offers the survival of the fittest type of genetics. A natural chemical attraction. Eventually the nurturing stage evolves within them and drives them to seek stability. If the bad boy does not seek to follow he will be left behind, because she will be gone. The women who stay with the bad boys either have no children, or have unlinked themselves from the want or need of offspring. Sadly this is how the human race has evilved and it is likely for the betterment of the entirety. The good guy finishes last is not such a bad thing in life as it indicates that he was present at the finish, whereas the bad boy has no ribbon or mention by that time. Kinda reminds you of the hare and the tortoise...? And we all know who won that one...
People think that their youth is forever and drive themselves crazy wanting everything to be perfect before they get 'old'. Well ask a 10-year old how old is old, and continue doing this to children in 5 year increments. Amazingly the age is always ahead of them. I am 40 and by no means am an old fart.
So no girls do not want the sweet guy, and we should thank them for it because it developed the genetic material within each of us to persevere against all the ills the world evolves, and to triumph against all odds.
But women on the other hand, well they see the bad 'boy' for what he is just a boy. They do not hate them by any means and remember fondly any adventures they had with them, but when it all comes down to the moment they seek out the sweet guy to share the rest of their wonderful lives with. Just be patient good things come to those who wait.

| Sometimes "sweet" is a bit feminine for a guy. I like a man who is moral, smart, helpful, funny, intelligent, but I wouldn't call that "sweet". I call that WANTED.

| In terms of sweet guys - NO The term is a turnoff. No woman wants to think of their man of being sweet. Nice, but not sweet. Again women don't want to think of their men of being sweet lmao lmao.
Let me tell you what type of men women gravitate to:
1. Men who are pleasing to their eye
2. Men who are confident
3. Men who are a challenge
4. Men that have a spinal cord
5. Men who can acutally say no instead of yes all the time
6. Men who can make decisions instead of ones who cannot
7. Men who are agressive
8. Men who they can learn from (women don't want to do all the teaching and babying)
9. Men who know how to take control
10. Men who live on the edge sometimes (adventure)
Moral of this is that yes, woman like nice men but you better have balance in other strong attributes discussed above
