| Always pleasant, great sense of humor, stranger to no one, just an all around good person. But the only celebrity that comes to mind when you see him is.......Shrek! When you are out and about, we see these couples all the time. Asking how did he get her or vice versa. Is it the beautiful shell or the beautiful heart?

| tall... that is so true. Usually, I don't dress up or put on a suit to impress a woman. I always try to show my personality for her to see it. But of course, everyone asks their dates later what attracted them to yourself.. and most of the time, it's your body, or looks.
But I think those couples that we see everyday... one looking like shrek and the other a beautiful woman or vice versa, has gotten past the looks on the outside and really match together on the heart level.

| You know I re-thought this also...there have been many men who initially "looked" good, and after truly watching them, who they are on the inside, the comments made here in threads, how they express themselves, or treat others....I have been turned "on" and "off".
What bothers me is the ability to discern through what's presented here which is accurate and which is not...
But in my head I have a general principle of 3 strikes...
My gut has never failed me to date - sometimes I have ignored it and THEN suffered big time.
But if I feel unease, and begin to look for the signs, and I GET 3 strikes - things I find morally or ethically reprehensible - then slice.
Done.
Might have "looked" pretty - but turned out to be a clunker.
I would welcome men to do the same thing with me.

| Did you just throw me a strike?....  just kidding, you can tell people by their posts. But before I call them completely out.. I call and write to them to see if they are the same as I am reading.
Kind of like reading a book... cover looks good, but the first few pages are slow and dragging... do you read more or sit it down and get another one? Not knowing if it was a best seller?
