I am new here, really looking for friends, I am not needing to date, is this so wrong? I see many view my profile, but there are no responses, no..Hi how are you? Maybe I should not be here? I feel like odd one out........

Don't feel odd one out because you are not. There are times that I look but a lot of the time is because I am on the forums and they are too and I just see what they have to say about themselves. And alot of women look at my profile and don't say anything.
You will be ok and don't give up yet. There's somebody out there for you.

I don't know about other men, but I read a lot of profiles. I look for: smoking, religion, intelligence, active lifestyle, outlook on life - all these things influence me. I seldom make contact unless I see the things that could make us "click".
Sometimes, I'm just looking to see what is out there...

But remember they don't know
you want to be their friend
till you ask also.

So use that"be my friend button"
it works also.

Thank you all, I will try harder. I see there are some nice people here, I enjoy corresponding with friends all over, there is so much to learn about ways of living.

Hey I just joined and my problem is my age...it's going faster than my body...I still have the wants and action of a 50 but nobody can see that...

I'm new here and sometimes I log in and just bump around profiles looking for ideas to fix mine.
Sometimes it just feels intrusive to email someone and waste their time if I don't intend on dating them.
